Satanists, apocalypse watchers and heavy metal guitarists may have to adjust their demonic numerology after a recently deciphered ancient biblical text revealed that 666 is not the fabled Number of the Beast after all.

What's much scarier is that a recent and historically baseless interpretation of riddles and coded language has helped convince millions of evangelicals that now is the time to take over the United States government

Christian evangelicals are plotting to remake America in their own image

I know someone who will be so disappointed. No wonder it didn't do him(her) any good.

Frightening. Very frightening. Good article in the Rolling Stone! Holy War. Now, where have I heard that phrase before?

Yes, and the righties think mixing church and state is just fine and dandy....Ha!, Wait until they find out that THEIR religion might not be the RIGHT one

Truly frightening! And what will it take to get Americans on their feet and marching, as we did in the 60s?

I know many middle of the road Christians who, I hope, are examining where they've chosen to put their support and who should be horrified at how far this movement has gone.

I have to admit.. I don't get it either Libra?

Wait they did a movie in the 70's "The Way we were"...is that what you are referring to? But if I recall that movie was about a couple from different backgrounds who couldn't make their marriage work despite the love they shared?

But I don't see how this applies...??

DBL..you seem to know what Libra is referring to.. spill..
