I've been out of town for a couple of days, last post I remembered reading of yours was on Ebay Outlook last Friday and you were up in the middle of the night - sick. Now I'm back and catching up on my reading (lurking) and realize you still seem to be absent. Are you all right? Had a distinctly bad feeling when I read the "Read Any Good Books?" thread and you had no offerings to suggest. Give us a word, man, you're scaring us.

yorequest,
Pareau has posted a few times since the post that indicated that he might not feel well. I certainly hope that any health problems were only temporary and that he is rather devoted to other time-consuming concerns or taking a short break from the boards.
I know that I regret the absence of his commentary and creative verbal play and anticipate his imminent return.

Could be. There seems to be some pareauvocation though. I just saw him on the "port pareaubing" thread in the Outlook.

Oh brother, how embarrassing. Don't worry, yorequest. I was sick, then plain feeling lousy and haven't wanted to read. I always get filled with hope when that happens, thinking I've achieved the great state of unAmerican desirelessness I aspire to and will be able to get some work done for once. Then a couple of days go by and I realize I've confused crankiness with enlightenment again. Nirvana is not to be mine, I am sure there will be more obnoxious pareauments in the future.

It is easy to confuse crankiness with enlightenment. "Vanity, vanity - all is vanity." I entertain such confusion almost daily. Living in an area of pastoral squalor that's linked by a system of roads and government tendered amenities that would be considered unusually crude for a colony of cherrystone clams has that unfortunate side effect. Look on the bright side? Yeah, could be Radioactivity instead of no activity. Glad you're still cutting the mustard after all. I'll try not to be so personal in the future - unless the situation seems to call for it!
Edited because I didn't have nearly enough smilies in it.
