I was originally going to call this the stupidest quote of all time but thats pushing it. But this is still pretty stupid. A New Orleans resident, talking about the approaching CATEGORY 5 hurricane yesterday said:
It's just going to be a bit of wind and rain," he said, adding he hadn't bothered to board up his windows.
A bit of rain and wind? Isn't that a little like looking at an avalanche barreling down a mountain towards your log cabin and then turning to your friend and saying, "Oh look there, looks like we're going to get a bit of a dusting."
