Yes, God Bless them. I hope they plan on interviewing some of the families and companies so we can see how they are all doing now, four years later?

Four years ago....doesn't seem possible it's been that long ago.

Memories for me were those in the plane in PA who fought the terrorists before their plane crashed. What hero's they were.

Watching the planes fly into the buildings....and then watching the horror of people as they ran for their lives.

The other brave hero's who were safe themselves, but chose to go into the buildings to rescue others. Humanity at it's finest.

Watching our Congress standing out on the steps of the Capitol building, singing "God Bless America". Brought chills down my spine.

Knowing we'd be going to war against those who did this to our Nation. And not realizing, at the time, we'd still be fighting that war four years later.

Four years ago we as a Nation sat watching the aftermath of the destruction, the injured and dead and their families pain.

We will NOT forget.

LindaKKK, the whole world but YOU knows the Iraqi's had NOTHING to do with 9/11....do you LIKE making yourself look stupid?

You're right, we're still fighting that "3 week "cake-walk" war for 2 1/2 years thanks to the evil, incompetant low-lifes who planned this war WELL BEFORE 9/11!

It really does seem like a long time ago. I'll never forget.

Damn, woken up by phone calls to turn on the tv, never expecting anything of this magnitude hitting our country.

My husband was in an intelligence analyst class in DC when it happened. I remember desparately trying to call the emergency number not knowing if the class was in the Pentagon or in a building nearby. Two hours of panic - then got through - they had felt the boom, but were not in the Pentagon - they were nearby.

We were not yet married then - our wedding was three months away.

I selfishly thought - before realizing the magnitude - how is this going to affect my wedding - our whole family was booked on American Airlines to go the Virgin Islands where our wedding was held (my dad lived there).

Then I realized what was happening - and felt so lost until Bush's speech - he really gave a great speech on the 'War on Terror' that we would wage.

I remember being on pins and needles not knowing if my husband to be would be activated - he was still in the Reserves then. Very scary time. Bush did an incredible job getting us through it.

To me the above statement from Linda_K is what poor planing gets ya.

Another example of Linda_K speaking with twisted tongue using twisted meanings to twisted words.

Don't worry Linda_K,"WEAPONS OF MASS DESTRUCTION" have been found in Iraq for American Troops because Bush is "STAYING STEADFAST","WORKING ON IT" AND "MAKING PROGRESS" on "MISSION ACCOMPLISHED"

Somewhere in Texas a small village is missing its VILLAGE IDIOT.

This thread was to honor and show respect for those who lost their lives when our enemies murdered so many of our citizens on 9-11.

But of course, we have two posters, bigpeepa and mingotree[aka crowfarm, LB] who have to spoil it with their constant need to deposit their personal diarrhea in every thread here.

It's not about Linda....it's not about President Bush....it's about all those lives that were lost, injured, destroyed on that day.

Caroline - I can only imagine the panic you felt....as did thousands of others, worrying about their loved ones that day and for the following weeks even.

I'm happy for you that your husband-to-be was safe and well.
