I'm back from a long and harrowing journey; I've just started to write of my epic travels and have decided to post them here for all to read.
Here are the first few paragraphs. They should shed some light on just how dangerous the trek was (still is):
The Nightmare in Lala Land
I've been on a trip to a new and different world. Not a "brave new world"
but a dark place. A place that lacked vision shuns new ideas and even
shunned the "Enlightened One". They were stuck in the twilight zone of
socialism.
Although it was in constant dusk, there were several frolicking beings
dressed in costumes. I learned very early, that to make fun of these
creatures was a No-No in the new world. Matter of fact you can't say
anything they take excepting to (or is that too?).
I would like to say I made friends, but that wouldn't be true. They hated
me. It wasn't till the ass assins came to hunt me down that I found the
warmth and love of these new people.
I can't say they all hated me. There were some that would speak to me, there
were some that were very humorous (very few). (There was a major lack in the
comedy department.)
They all seemed to see themselves as stoic disciples of some ancient CC
hating monolith ( I stole that from 2001 a space........the monolith
thing....)
Now back to the ass assins , they came to hunt me down but the found that
even thou they too were of the socialist persuasion and had been there
before, they weren't welcome to fulfill their dastardly deeds.
They (the ass assins) were pummeled with words of righteous indignation and
consciously so. They had not come in peace but with sin in there hearts.

I'll try to refrain from stating an opinion on your epic travels until they make a movie out of it or at least until i've read your last paragraph but your writing style is reminiscent of Homer's Iliad and/or Odyssey. Do continue to expound your tales of woe and lamentation.
