As posted on the A-list thread, I'm looking for a new ID.

Maggie suggested:
"Godtalksthroughme"
"Miraclemaker"
"nuts&bolts"
"burningbush"

Colin suggested something hippy-gay (You gotta read the thread, I'm not gay or a hippie).

I like Maggie's religion-themed ID, but want something good... Not necessarily limited to Christianity however.

Tomorrow night at midnight, replaymedia goes away forever. Promise.

Let's make it a contest.

(GROAN) That'd make both logansdad AND Colin happy, wouldn't it?

"Enlightener" is in the running.

I'd say go with Quasimodo. Even tho you feel it doesnt or might not fit you, they will just call you quasi and you know one word names are the ultrachic. Its got religion in there if you look hard enough too.

I used to work with a guy name Quazi (not sure about the spelling, but he was African).

We had one guy who, everytime Quazi would walk past him would sing the Patsy Kline Song "Kwazy. I must have been Kwazy for twy-in." He did the whole song with an Elmer-Fudd lisp. It was hilarious.

Great. Now I'm gonna have THAT SONG running through my head all night.

Plus it just sounds cool. Nevermind, I want it.

Godsavenger, Jesus'sjeep, Holysh*t, (religious)

gotapinktriangletattoo, (Mo)

Godsreamer (catches both religion and the gay crowd)

For some strange reason, I think you have already made your choice.

E-mail me.
Amen,

Washingtonebayer, Gamesman would be appropriate for eBay, but I'm just looking for a messageboard posting ID. In all honesty, the reason I want to change is that my eBay ID is frighteningly similar to my posting ID here. But there's no reason I can't have fun with a new name!

----------------------------------------------

Colin, of the ones listed here, I actually like Holyshit best, but I'm not gonna pick that one

Last night I did have a really good one in mind, but this afternoon I decided it sounded more like a comic book character than a serious posting ID. The jury's not in yet, so my mind is still open.

----------------------------------------------

"Iseedeadpeople"
Wasn't there a poster here in the past who actually used that one? I might have it confused with another board.

----------------------------------------------

Colin, enough gay names already. Before long, you're going to suggest Logansmom or something.

----------------------------------------------

Ohmmm is cute, but the meaning wouldn't be immediately obvious.

----------------------------------------------

Kraft, I can absolutely guarantee after midnight tonight, Replaymedia will never post here again. Somehow I suspect some new poster will come along and spread VERY similar wisdom to the poor heathens at Vendio.

Replay, why do you have to change your posting ID?

And if you do change your name, does it cost money to do so? (someone mentioned that)

NTS:

I don't HAVE to change it. It's just that if I say something that offends someone, my eBay ID is an easy target. It's just a matter of time until someone tries some auction interference.

As I mentioned on the A-List thread, I'm planning to branch out onto other board sometime soon. People have always been reasonably civil here at Vendio, but I can't expect such nice people everywhere.

No, it's not going to cost me anything. Or at least I hope not! I was just going to sign up under a new account. I don't actually use Vendio for auctions, so it's just a name for me.

If a seller with zillions of scans and auctions set up here wanted to change their name, they'd charge for it. Someone said $12, I don't know if that's true or not, but I'm not going to argue.

I will be losing this note in my account:
Message Center Posts: 2801
Which I will probably come to regret when Vendio eventually starts paying us per posting.
