Are we supposed to separate into pro and anti cannibalism factions?
James.

The proof is in the 900 year old pooping at Cowboy Wash.

I have a large pile of petrified dinosaur coprolite. I wonder if there are people in there as well.

I know, I know!!! They could use the dna from the poop and clone them and then they could ask them what really happened!

I liked the comment by a UC Berkeley Anthropologist who said "Fur is going to fly over this".

It was practiced in Paupa New Guinea until the late 1960's when it was outlawed by the Australian government and even into the 1970's as an illegal practice. If you were considered good the women of the community were required to boil and eat you. If you were considered bad they burned you over the river and feared to go there.
Interesting book: "In Search of the Source".
It was written by Christian Missionaries and is avaliable through Sonlight Curriculum. It is adult reading level and a is a read-aloud for 4th grade. We read it last year. It deals with the cultural practices of Paupa New Guinea including cannibalism and much about language translation. Worth reading.

It's not an uncommon thing. In France it's been proven that the specialty of the day in Neanderthal caves was Neanderthal stew.

That reminds me of a sign that's outside the
shared offices of a veterinarian and a taxidemist in the town I used to live in that says "Either way, You get your dog back"

Damn Krs, I thought for sure that this was going to be about the guy from Deming, NM who roasted his neighbors pet pig and ate it.....
(Really happened....Deming is just a stones throw away from here. Same place where a 13 year old boy shot a 13 year old girl in the head at school)
Oh well.

As long as you're here, Fuzz, I've been buying bits and pieces of the SW and ran across a listing for a two story cinder block house in Roswell that was for sale by the family of the owner who had, umm, disappeared one night.
Do you remember anything in the state media about that?
