I read somewhere that if one is facinated by a certain era or area in the world, its because they once lived at that time, in that place (reincarnation?). Myself, Im facinated with the 17th century. I also find an attraction for Egypt, at the time of the Pharoahs and kings.
If you could live in any place and any era, what and where would it be and why?

20's 30's and early 40's London/New York
Something about the style, the writing, the art of that period just draws me in.
Sometimes I think I know more about those times than the times I have lived in. (This Life anyway )

I forgot to say WHERE in the 17th century.....Europe. Anywhere in Europe. Then again, I feel tribal, too....so some exotic local, where there is lots of flora and fauna and volcanoes...palm trees, blue seas, dark skinned peoples. Maybe I have "been" there before...maybe I have been LOTS of "theres" before? Interesting

Call me crazy, but I think the present will prove to be one of the most exciting times in history, and we all get to have deoderant and air conditioning to boot.

Periclean Athens, the Golden Age, 340-380 BC, the fascination, but don't know that I would want to live it : the height of Greek achievements in the arts, philosophy, and government.

He's coping pretty well, Diana. Ah...and he hasn't had a cigarette in 4 days, so I just might get to bring home not only a healthy Mr.Julesy, but a SMOKE-FREE one as well!

If I was to remain a female, then right here...right now! Any time previous to this (and even currently in many parts of the world), women were treated as slaves and property and denied basic human rights. They couldn't own land, couldn't have a job, couldn't leave their husbands if being abused. Nope, I think I'll stay right here in the air conditioning with James.
