Yep I am a forwarder but not so bad anymore. At least I remove all the addresses in my forwards.

That's cute, and useful. I managed to deal with these idiots by setting up an email rule that sends an automatic email to any address that sends me a forward. The email reads
"Hello, this is the macintosh located at xxx.xxx.xxx.xx, I do not appreciate forwarded emails. Please remove me from your address book. Emails from your IP will automatically be sent to my trash.Your ISP has received an abuse report that you have sent me spam. Good day."
Next to Miracle Whip, I despise forwards the most.

WOW! what if your mother forwards you an email from your brother sister uncle or whathaveya. LOL I like some things I get from forwards but this is only from my best buds in email.

I don't like forwards, and my family knows it, so they don't bug me with them. If somebody wants me to see a site, they'll make a new email with a personal message and a link in it. I do the same for things I want to send to people. It only takes a minute, and shows a whole lot more concern for whoever you're sending to. Just hitting your forward to all button without so much as taking off the 4000 other emails at the top of the page is just plain rude and inconsiderate. Anything that's disseminated in that fashion can't possibly be of any great import, it's junk plain and simple.
When email first became popular, it looked to me like it might actually be a way for people to really communicate more easily. I mean communicate as in TALK, WRITE, SHARE IDEAS. Sadly, there are scads of people who email lots of people every day, and don't communicate at all. All they are is conduits for schlepping along somebody else's crap. A complete waste of time, not to mention money and bandwidth.
I've run out of concern for the feelings of forwarders. I'm all done being polite to them. If you want to send me an email, SAY something in it in your own words, or don't bother.
