Hillary Clinton said that her childhood dream was to be an Olympic athlete. But she was not athletic enough. She said she wanted to be an astronaut, but at the time they didn't take women. She said she wanted to go into medicine, but hospitals made her woozy..... Should she be telling people this story? I mean she's basically saying she wants to be president because she can't do anything else. ...

At the last minute, Mexican President Vincente Fox changed his mind and announced that he will not sign a bill legalizing marijuana, cocaine and heroin. The Mexican Congress passed it, but he said that he will not sign it. He's worried about too many Americans sneaking across his border. ...

Ted Kennedy's son, Congressman Patrick Kennedy, crashed his car into a barricade on Capitol Hill at three o'clock in the morning. The head of Kennedy's office said no alcohol was involved. Well, that's why it's a huge story—a Kennedy in a car accident with no alcohol? That's never happened before. ...

Did you hear his excuse for hitting the barrier? He said he had to swerve to avoid hitting Ted Kennedy who was crawling home. I guess the apple doesn't stagger too far from the tree. ...

As I'm sure you know by know, Patrick Kennedy blamed this whole incident on a sleep medication he was taking. He said he couldn't remember getting out of bed in the middle of the night and leaving his home. And today Bill Clinton said, "Good answer, good answer." ...

Kennedy has checked himself into a drug rehab clinic. He gets that 25% Kennedy family discount. Just mention "Ted" at the door and your right in.

Yep that is what the good ole USA needs legal drugs in Mexico we could settle with keeping the straight and clean (sober) Mexicans in exchange for them taking all our drug addicts. Oh we need a do not return policy too. LOL LMAO

I was thinking the same thing, irked! Let the dope-heads migrate to Mexico.

However, the Mexican president vetoed the bill.

I'm actually surprised that Fox vetoed the bill. One of the biggest problems in Mexico is the drug cartels and the money that they wield. It's hard to keep cops honest when someone is offering them tremndous amounts of money to look the other way. One of the most viscous groups is actually a made up of former military members. Legalizing drugs within the country would drastically reduce the income power and influence of the cartels.

I've never known anyone that made their decision to use or not use drugs based on their legal status.

Then you must run with a bunch of foul ups.

Most people I know don't/won't do drugs because they are illegal.

Fox knew that decriminalinzing drugs in Mexico would piss of the U.S. and he wants to keep something going for all his illegals living here.

Ron - Are you saying that the people you run with would become a bunch of pot smoking, coke snorting, meth injecting fiends if those were legal drugs?

Or are they just a bunch of "foul ups" as you put it that don't do the drugs because they don't need or want the effects?

I know this must be a strange concept to you, but they are law abiding citizens.

If they partook of legal drugs it wouldn't concern you now would it?

If you're going to use the words use them correctly, "Yes, Ron my friends are the foul ups you are talking about because they thumb their nose at the law and use illegal drugs." "I wish I could find a better crowd to run with."

I am quite sure that is what you meant to say, and your welcome for straightening it out for you.

Ron - you have never been successful at putting words in my mouth before, why would you set forth again to make an ass out of yourself doing it again?

Let me clarify it for you. They just don't see the need nor do they have the desire so the legal status is irrelevent.

I wonder if there will ever be an amnesty for illegal drug users?
