I don't believe Iraq is in the middle of a civil war...but I believe they may very well be entering one. That's what all have been working to avoid. This has been a bad month....full of death....war is hell.
I'm just saying that the anti-war group is totally unreasonable...impatient...and thinks these generations long disputes are going to be settled in no time flat.
That's unrealistic. And that's why I chose to user OUR civil war. To point that out.

This woman has been caught in so many lies and kicked off boards that who knows what to call her. Like Bushy we certainly can't call her honorable. I picked up the Liar_k name from another board someone else started calling her liar_K before me.
A couple years ago I thought she was working for the G.O.P. how else can one explain the time she spends on various boards. Today I believe she is just another NEO-CON with nothing left in the way of a defense of Bushy whether she works for the G.O.P. or not who cares she is finished.
Her words have become so empty like many outer NEO-CONS here on this board that its hardly worth anyones time to debate or to acknowledge them.
MY POINT IS FOR THIS WHITE HOUSE TO NOW SAY THEIR IRAQ PLAN IS FLUID AND DYNAMIC IS THE BIGGEST FLIP FLOP I HAVE EVER HEARD OF.
HAVING SAID THAT THIS HUGH FLIP FLOP IS NO SURPRISE FROM A LIARS LIKE BUSHY/CHENEY/RUMMY AND RICEY.

Linda: Our own civil war was 1861-1865. I do believe we've passed or are fast approaching that length of time now with this war--2002 to 2006 and still counting!

At least Crybaby_K admits Iraq is in a civil war. It is more than Bush and Dick admit to at this point.
Some differences between the US Civil War and what is going on in Iraq:
1) The US Civil War was between two factions not three like it is in Iraq
2) The US Civil War had an established government in place well before the war broke out. The "Iraqi government" was just recently established.
3) The US Civil War did not have a foreign country's army occupying the land while the civil war was being fought. The US ARMY could also stand and defend itself unlike the Iraqi Army who can not/do not want to defend its own country.
Absolute faith has been shown, consistently, to breed intolerance. And intolerance, history teaches us, again and again, begets violence.

Sorry, but here are two simple facts that easily dispute Linduh's statement.
1) I, like many other progressive liberals here were against the Iraq War long, long before it even started. So calling us "cut and runners" is an absolute false statement. It is hard to cut and run from something that you didn't start and didn't support from the beginning.
2) The perfect example of CUT and RUN was the Bush Administration's policies regarding Afghanistan, the Taliban, and the real Al Qaeda. Bush cut and ran from Afghanistan, didn't finish the job, and now look... the Taliban and Al Qaeda are at it again. If the Bush Administration had actually finished the job, I wouldn't have been able to make this point part of my arguement, now would I???
Get it straight Linduh... Bush created the Iraq War, he created the mess there. Now the Bushies are reeling back in a last ditch effort to save face amongst left leaning Moderates and Republicans.
I'd also like to add this simple fact. The Bush Administration already declared victory in Iraq... how long ago??? It is time to bring our troops home, and let Iraq resolve their own problems. It is time for our kids to come home to their families, and time for Iraqis to accept responsibility for the direction they want their country to go.

Liar_k, doesn't believe in the failed NEO-CON government experiment any longer. She just lies to us trying to cover for Bushy's mistakes.
She is very worried being a self centered,greedy old wind bag. She worries that we the majority just might come and get a few bucks from her to help her less fortunate fellow Americans.
Somebody said before "all the chicken hawks" are coming home. They are so right.
The flimsy house the NEO-CON chicken hawks built on lies is crumbling before their eyes.
