I know that to many voters making English our official language is important.

Well....then you better consider that too before you vote for a democrat to represent you in the Senate or House of Reps.

Democrats don't normally vote to support these issues that most American voters want to see. [as noted in the post below].

Again, just one more issue to consider before placing your vote next Tuesday.

Support U.S. ENGLISH

To: U.S. English Members

From: Mauro E. Mujica, Chairman of the Board

Subject: Tuesday Elections

Date: November 3, 2006

Dear U.S. English Member:

This past year was one of historic legislative success for U.S. English, Inc.

In the U.S. House of Representatives, 163 House members signed on as co-sponsors for H.R. 997, placing it among the top three percent of the most co-sponsored bills before Congress.

In the United States Senate, 62 Senators voted in favor of Senate Amendment 4064, the first time official English legislation has passed the Senate in American history.

Whether or not our agenda resonates with the next Congress will be determined largely by the service of our allies in Congress, and those decisions will be made next Tuesday.

On Tuesday, November 7, we urge you to consider your candidates' support for our common language as a decisive factor in your voting decision.

Because official English laws do not have multiple legislative votes on which to "rate" members, we do not issue a "grade" or "scorecard" to each member of Congress who is running for re-election. Rather, we inform you of positively rated members of Congress based on the following criteria:

HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES: Is the member one of the 163 members to co-sponsor H.R. 997, the bill to make English the official language of the United States?

SENATE: Is the member one of the 62 Senators who voted in favor of Senate Amendment 4064, an amendment to declare English the national language of the United States?

Members for whom the answer to this question is "Yes" have received a positive rating.

If the 1.8 million members of U.S. English make our voices heard, we will carry our momentum into 2007, where we can finally realize our long-held goal: to make English the official language of the United States.

Thank you for your support!

Mauro E. Mujica
Chairman of the Board

What's the matter boys????

You DON'T support having English be our National language....OR are you just upset that MOST of those that DO....aren't democrats.

LOL LOL LOL

Yep...the radical left sure isn't PRO-American...but we already KNEW that.

While the democratic party complains about everything THIS President does to protect our Nation:

What would a Democrat president have done at that point? Apparently, the answer is: Sit back and wait for the next terrorist attack.
