Prof, that's the second time you've spelled satellite wrong. Don't make me fly down to your farm to give you a spelling lesson!
And thanks. Are they live feeds or edited, or do you know?

it's one of my problem words, thanks for pointing it out ...I think if they're edited or live feeds depends on the channel. I don't think the government takes a role in what news we're allowed to see, in spite of what the conspiracists think.

""I don't think the government takes a role in what news we're allowed to see, in spite of what the conspiracists think.""
You mean like the coffins that we're not allowed to see or photograph coming off the plane from Iraq?
You mean like Bush girls...after a little excitement at the beginning of bush's term...it looks like the bushits spawn have disappeared ????
You really think this government doesn't take a role in hiding anything else ?????????(eyebrows raised )

Where is Chelsea, anyway?

Last week an Iraqi official said they had wounded the top Al-Qaida leader in Iraq and killed his top aid.
Not another word was heard in any news media about this so called wounding. Just proves its very hard to believe news from Iraq.
We all know the Bushy government paid for false good reports from Iraq they got caught doing it. Some of those false reports made it to this board, LIAR-K repeated some false reports here calling them "Iraq's good news reports".
Yes, our government does control what news reports they can.

keep trying, bear, ...the old "privacy" thingy??
Ya, right...just a non-starter...their loved ones were killed very publically in Iraq and a photo of their flag draped coffin arriving home is not exactly a private moment. ALL Americans should see their heros returning and honor them.
The repugs just don't want Americans to see that it's a continuing process. It might hit home.
Chelsea?
Uh, bear, I hate to break the news but Chelsea is NOT the child of the present, sitting president.
