Never having taken drugs when I was younger, except in excessive quantities, I find myself searching for the idealistic soul once again. It seems as though somewhere in the last few decades, I lost the values that I desired when I was a teen. Life sorta got in the way, and with that comes responsibility. It's amazing how it creeps up on someone, and what we once thought as mere folly, we embrace today as an absolute.
There are many rhymes and reasons for singing, but writing the lyrics to make a story, that has always been the trick. And the story goes this way. Age gracefully, settle in your ways, be content with what you have, and give thanks.

---------------------------------- The duty of a patriot in this time and place is to ask questions, to demand answers, to understand where our nation is headed and why. If the answers you get do not suit you, or if they frighten you, or if they anger you, it is your duty as a patriot to dissent. Freedom does not begin with blind acceptance and with a flag. Freedom begins when you say 'No.'
