....we voters allow the liberals to make that happen.
I hope we will not. But rather we can freely voice our opposition to this public display of sexuality that is VERY common among gays.
They complain we want to regulate what they do in their BEDROOMS? Well...then they need to KEEP it in their bedrooms NOT in public places.
I fully support this man for having the GUTS to say waht MOST decent people in America feel and for promising those he represents he will work to STOP that filth.

Fort Lauderdale mayor issues apology, but not to gay community

FORT LAUDERDALE
Mayor Jim Naugle issued a public apology on the steps of City Hall Tuesday afternoon, but it wasn't the apology the gay community was looking for.
Naugle apologized for underestimating the problem of men having sex with each other in public restrooms, and urged people to call police to complain when they come upon it. He also said Broward County leads the nation in the incidence of new AIDS cases involving men having sex with men, and questioned whether the county tourism office should be welcoming them here.
Naugle alerted the media that he was holding a news conference that would include "an apology.''
Gay activists and others have been calling for a public apology form the mayor, and for his resignation, since the South Florida Sun-Sentinel published Naugle's comments earlier this month about gays. In article about a proposed self-cleaning, automatic toilet the city was going to buy for the beach, Naugle said an added benefit would be that it would deter men from using it for "homosexual activity,'' which he said was a problem in public restrooms.
He also said he uses the term "homosexual'' rather than "gay,'' because gays are "unhappy.''
The mayor's comments led to formation of a group called Unite Fort Lauderdale, which is holding a rally tonight at City Hall, where a long list of elected officials and others will be speaking.
"I want to apologize to the children and parents of our community,'' the mayor said, "for not being aware of the problem.''
He said a website about "cruising for sex'' directs people to two city parks, and he asked "responsible members of the homosexual community'' to work with him to get those parks off the website.
He was flanked by conservative Rev. O'Neal Dozier, who pointed at the lightning and rain and raised his eyebrows to local gay activist Anthony Niedwiecki, whose partner, Waymon Hudson, organized the anti-Naugle group.
"It's raining on you!'' Niedwiecki shouted back.

yep here is another:
FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. — An HIV-positive Fort Bragg soldier has been charged with knowingly spreading the virus to a teenage boy, WRAL.com reports.
Private First Class Johnny Lamar Dalton was charged last week by civilian authorities in Cumberland County with assault with a deadly weapon, misdemeanor assault and committing a crime against nature. He is being held under a $50,000 bond and faces the same charges from the military.
Dalton was arrested after the Fort Bragg military police and the Cumberland County Sheriff's Office conducted a five-month-long investigation, where they found that the 25-year-old was engaged in a sexual relationship with a 17-year-old boy he found in a gay online chatroom and then met in person, the boy's mother told WRAL.com.
Last November, Dalton signed a written order agreeing to not have unprotected sex and to notify a partner before he did, a spokesperson for the 82nd Airborn Division told WRAL.com.
His encounters with the boy continued despite the order and despite his having a wife and children. In February, doctors conducting routine blood tests reportedly found that the otherwise healthy teen was HIV positive.
The boy, now 18, and his mother went to Fort Bragg military police and then to the Cumberland County Sheriff's Office.
"My son received it [HIV] unwillingly," the teen's mother told WRAL.com. "If you willingly and knowingly ... and you purposefully do something, you should suffer the consequences."
Both the boy's mother and military investigators told WRAL.com they are worried that Dalton might have infected other people who have not come forward. The mother has said she thinks that the Army should have better control over soldiers known to be infected with HIV or AIDS.
Dalton is a member of the 22nd Aviation Support Battalion and is not allowed to deploy because of the virus.
Military and civilian prosecutors will meet to decide who will take the case to court. A preliminary hearing is scheduled for August 2.

Linda if you keep believing HIV is only a gay disease, you are stupid. Keep up that thought and you will end up contracting it one day.
AIDS Cases by Transmission Category
Six common transmission categories are male-to-male sexual contact, injection drug use, male-to-male sexual contact and injection drug use, heterosexual (male-female) contact, mother-to-child (perinatal) transmission, and other (includes blood transfusions and unknown cause).
Following is the distribution of the estimated number of diagnoses of AIDS among adults and adolescents by transmission category in the 50 states and District of Columbia. A breakdown by sex is provided where appropriate.
Transmission Category Estimated # of AIDS Cases, in 2005
Adult and Adolescent Male Adult and Adolescent Female Total
Male-to-male sexual contact 17,230 - 17,230

A man who spent five years in jail for exposing sexual partners to HIV was sentenced to life in prison for knowingly exposing another woman to the virus.
Sean L. Sykes, 33, was sentenced Tuesday. He was found guilty in May of having unprotected sex with a St. Joseph woman without telling her he was HIV-positive. Testimony at his trial — which was closed to the public to protect witnesses — indicated that he had exposed at least eight women to HIV. At least three have tested positive.
"I think it's fairly clear he is a very dangerous individual," Buchanan County Prosecutor Dwight Scroggins said after the sentencing. "If he is not in prison, he would likely continue to spread HIV."
Sykes was convicted in 1997 of knowingly exposing someone to HIV. He was given the maximum sentence of 10 years, but was paroled in 2003.
Scroggins said Sykes has had "numerous" other unknown sexual contacts since he first tested positive 16 years ago.
"It's not an immediate death sentence," said assistant prosecutor Kathleen Fisher, "but that's what he's done to these people, his victims."
A 29-year-old woman who contracted HIV in the mid-1990s after having sex with Sykes testified at the sentencing hearing that her life had been destroyed by the virus.
The mother of two children — neither of whom has tested positive for the disease — said doctors have given her about two years to live.
"My family has left me — they're scared of me," she said. "When I found out that Sean was on trial again for this, it drove me crazy. The main question is why? Why is he doing this?"
Prosecutors said Sykes began having a sexual relationship with a St. Joseph woman in 2004, never telling her that he had HIV.
Sykes contended at his trial that the woman knew he was HIV-positive. He apologized Tuesday for his behavior.
"I will admit my behavior in the early '90s, and up until my first conviction, was not appropriate," he said. "Even though (the St. Joseph woman) was aware of my status, I should have seen nothing good would come as far as a sexual relationship."

You really are stupid. It seems like you need everything spelled out.
Linda in my opinion is still under the impression HIV is only spread my gay men. Linda doesn't say anything when a soldier is spreading HIV or when it is spread by straight people. Whether or not the soldier is straight, gay or bi is not for me to say. Since he is married some would argue he is "straight". Some could argue he is at least bi. In my opinion he is a pedophile.
The second post shows the HIV transmission rates which will show HIV is not just a gay disease or only spread by homosexual activity. Nearly 33% of the cases in 2005 were spread by high risk hetrosexual contact.
Now does that spell everything out for you?

This is one of those little chestnuts like:
Not ALL Muslims are terrorists!
But most terrorists are Muslims.
You can be as pc as you want and talk about "intravenous drug users" or whatnot, but the fact remains that if it were not for gays most people would be walking around asking "What's AIDS?"

Yep the yo-yo's here continue saying things that others, like myself, have NEVER stated. Then we're supposed to defend our actions/words/posts that we NEVER MADE...NEVER SAID.
LOL LOL
See how funny they can be? Great entertainment, especially when THEY claim others didn't grasp what they posted.
They're projecting again. Of course, I never said any such thing.
But gays always have been, and still are the majority of those passing hiv/aids around. Verification can easily be found on the CDC website. But hey, they don't WANT to deal with FACTS.....much better to try and pretend someone said something/took a position they've NEVER taken.

I bet you have all the facts to back up that research you did on this matter.
Just like the fact you and the rest of your Republican are under the impression that Bush's actions since 9/11 have prevented another 9/11 terrorist attack.
Just because there has not been another attack doesn't make your theories true.

There is Linda's reading comprehension problem once again. I guess she didnt read the part where I said it was my opinion. You would think that only Linda can have opinions around here.
Then we're supposed to defend our actions/words/posts that we NEVER MADE...NEVER SAID.
Just like you keep saying liberals want us to lose in Iraq and that liberal support the terrorists when no one here ever said that. Just more double standards from Linda.
Linda you can believe what you want, but your posts about gays and HIV suggest something different.

Your lack of comprehension is showing, again, over and over.
The CDC reports on the FACTS....not what you like to deny.

And again and again, lol....even though I've repeatedly said JUST the OPPOSITE....ld can't grasp much of anything.
"You would think that only Linda can have opinions around here."
It's because you're supposedly 'thinking' with a liberal mind. And they don't grasp much of anything ever written. tsk tsk tsk
I can and DO respond to the 'opinions' stated here. Get used to it...it's called FREE SPEECH.

LOL....and again off topic, but I will respond because it shows a complete lack of being able to 'think beyond your own nose' ld.
Any THINKING person knows we have not suffered any of these attacks on American soil since 9-11.....BECAUSE of the changes this administration put in place to CATCH them, arrest them BEFORE they are able to carry out their evil deeds. It's WORKING.
Of course, that doesn't include most liberals. They're blind to facts.
Then we suffered FIVE attacks on American interests during the clinton administration - we haven't had any more since we went into Afghanistan and Iraq. We're fighting the battle there....and we're watching what the suspected terrorists in America are up to. Many have been arrested....do you NEVER read the news?
So, I KNOW there are others who actually USE common sense to recognize the HUGE difference between the cowards on the left who wouldn't stand up to our enemies/attackers and this one who has been willing to go after them.
9-11 happened because the clinton administration SHOWED the terrorists/bin laden how weak we were. Well....only about 1/2 of our nation is weak.....and I hope we don't put one of them in the WH again.
They WON'T fight our enemies...they RUN AWAY from them. No courage, no backbones, no leadership.

And just as many in America have said they feared would happen IF the liberals were able to get their 'hate speech' laws inacted.....it IS beginning in canada.
Canadian pastor is facing a hearing before the Alberta Human Rights and Citizenship Commission over a letter he wrote to a newspaper condemning homosexuality. Some accuse the pastor's letter of influencing the assault days later of a homosexual teenager.
The letter was written five years ago in an Alberta newspaper by Minister Stephen Boissoin. Two weeks after the letter was published, a 17-year-old homosexual youth was beaten. A complaint was filed against the minister, and the commission is hearing the case this week.
Mat Staver is founder of Orlando-based Liberty Counsel. He contends Canada is treading on the minister's free speech. "What we see happening in Canada, is a person's free speech -- speech on the matter of homosexuality, which says that homosexuality is wrong and which speaks of the homosexual agenda -- is now being punished in a court of law and the person is being put on trial solely for what the individual spoke."
Staver also warns that the case is an example of what could happen in the United States if hate crimes legislation is passed.
"Certainly, it's our prayer that the courts will not convict him," the attorney says, "but the fact that he's going through this long ordeal and having to go to court just to represent his right to freedom of speech sends a huge warning shot over the bow of America that we must not, we cannot go down this road.
"We must protect our free exercise of religion and our freedom of expression," Staver emphasizes. "We must be able to speak out in America and around the world about sexuality -- and specifically that homosexuality is wrong, immoral, and harmful."
The Liberty Counsel founder describes hate crimes legislation as "bad law" because it criminalizes speech and does nothing to prevent violent crimes. "All crimes are motivated by hate," he says in a July 12 press release about a hate crimes amendment currently before the U.S. Senate. "Hate Crimes laws will not be used to punish the perpetrator, but will be used to silence people of faith, religious groups, clergy, and those who support traditional moral values."
The Alberta commission could order an apology or compensation in the Boissoin case. It must issue a decision within 60 days of the hearing. Any decision could also be challenged in the courts.
If gay hate crimes is passed in the US by the feds this is what we can expect.
