The fate of Ward Churchill Update: Fired 8-1 vote And now, the bogus Indian’s gonna file a bogus lawsuit
The University of Colorado’s Board of Regents today fired professor Ward Churchill, 2 1/2 years after his comments about the victims of the 9/11 attacks sparked a firestorm.
The regents, in an 8-1 vote, said Churchill committed academic misconduct. The board convened this morning and spent several hours behind closed doors hearing the charges against Churchill.
University president Hank Brown, in a news conference, said “the decision was really pretty basic” based on the board’s findings. Churchill was accused of plagiarism, falsification and other infractions.
Said Brown: “The individual did not express regret, did not apologize, did not indicate a willingness to refrain from this type of
falsification in the future.”
Immediately after the vote was announced, Churchill said “New game, new game.” He has vowed to sue if the regents acted against him.
A handful of protesters were gathered around a drum, beating it and chanting as someone else held an American Indian Movement flag.

Behind the move to dismiss Ward Churchill are questions about the accuracy and integrity of his scholarly works. Findings of a faculty investigative committee released last year:
# Historical facts: Churchill manufactured events in which European Americans intentionally spread smallpox to kill Indians. In one such event, the Army is said to have distributed tainted blankets to Mandan Indians. But no evidence backs the claim.
Elsewhere, Churchill claimed the United States adopted a formal racial code to identify Indians, similar to the code used by the Nazis to identify Jews. U.S. law includes no such code, legal scholars say.
# Plagiarism: Churchill published an essay on water issues in Canada that closely resembles a pamphlet by a Canadian environmental group. He also borrowed a work on fishing rights originally published by Canadian scholar Fay Cohen.
# Falsifying sources: Churchill wrote essays under the names of other people, which he then cited as independent sources in his footnotes.

I agree. But the wacko liberals supported him remaining to instruct our students into the evils of America.
It's professors like churchill who indoctrinate our young people into buying into their liberal [and much further left] ideals. And they WILL destroy America because there is no balance with the other, pro-America side. Sometimes it appears to me that only a few are reporting on and making some Americans aware of what our college/university children ARE being taught.
That's why I fully support Horowitz and the website he's on that does report on what these liberal wackos are feeding to our children. It certainly ISN'T independent thinking....it's pure anti-America garbage. Frontpagemagazine keeps posting their totally outrageous behavior that most parents would be horrified about, IF they knew.
And we wonder why the majority of journalists/etc are liberals who only provide the ignorant voters with their propaganda? Why they work vigorously to keep conservatives out of their colleges as professors....and why only approx 1 in 10 professors are conservative....get tenure. They've been VERY successful ....and that's not even bringing up the total MSM being supportive of the liberals and their ideals/platforms.
It's a wonder the whole nation isn't liberal....maybe it's because they didn't go to college to get MORE indoctrination - they get more than enough of that in our gov run public schools. And why they have little or no common sense.

Be aware....the professors they report on aren't supportive of the nation that gives them the right to speak and teach their anti/un-America world views to our children. And we're paying them to do so.
