Not something like we have had a republican president for 8 years now it is our turn.

The Round Table has turned into the Good Old Boys place to meet. Admit it. Maybe they should rename this place The Democratic Forum as none of you like people that don't conform to your line of thinking but guess what there are two sides to every story maybe three so listen to others you might learn something or maybe it is just to late.
No need to gang up on me like you did others it ain't going to happen. This place belongs to all Vendio users and I will bet I use Vendio a lot more than you do. To bad they don't ban the non vendio auction users. It would be a great day. JMHO

Libra, I asked a similar question of the republicans. I made it even simpler: How do you want to see when the presidential election? Didn't get a single republican name from a republican. Guess folks are unwilling to commit at this stage.

Well since I didn't see your question I couldn't answer but you should know by now there are no Conservtive Republicans here. All were run off by the liberal Democrats.
To answer your question anyone that runs would be a good candidate for me. They all are about the same in their view points. They don't cry after losing a primary and are straight forward with their answers. Another thing they don't keep pushing National Health Care down our throats.
A GOOD National Health Care will take years not months to prepare to give the US Citizens something better than anyone has offered. We need a good Health Care not a fly by night one.
I will also say if my vote would be instrumental to get Obama or Hillary in the White House. Obama would get my vote....

First off it is "You are" or "You're" not "Your".
Are you really lazy that you can not look up Vendio's guidelines for posting here. Maybe vendio needs to suspend your account since you obvious don't know what the "rules" are. Do you just blindly check boxes when you sign up for accounts on websites without reading what the guidelines are?

BTW I did answer your question. Also if you notice there are no Conservative Republicans on this discussion board. How did you expect an answer? I'll be the first to step up to the plate. Now that the field has been reduced to 2 viable candidates, I've decided to support Obama. Three reasons why:
1. He has charisma that Clinton doesn't have. Bill could charm voters, Hillary can't. My #1 requisite for the democratic candidate is that we choose one that can win the election. Needless to say, either democrat candidate needs to win the election in order to bring troops home. This is paramount.
2. Personal integrity. Call me old fashioned, but this is high on my list. Obama carries little baggage, has high ideals, has led a scandal-free life and owes few favors.
3. Universal health care. Both democratic candidates support it. I can't vote for anyone who doesn't. I wish Obama would be more specific on his plan, but he hasn't had the time Hillary has had to develop it.

1) Hillary isn't going to "bring them home" anymore than "the democratic congress is going to bring them home". Campaign slogans have a way of succumbing to the harsh realities of the world. And no leader could simply pretend the region of the globe most vital to our interests doesn't exist.
2) You don't know what Obama's personal integrity is, but it absolutely has to be better than Clinton's. You KNOW if Clinton is nominated all of those Arkansas scandals are going to be pouring out, and the "I just signed where they told me to sign" explanation isn't going to wash.
3) He has no plans for anything, but dang, he sure looks good in those suits.
The 2 of them are the best things the Republicans could have as opponents.

I agree desquirrel the US citizens went through those scandels before and I am sure they will resurface. Whitewater, Tyson, Vincent Foster. secret meetings for health care.
I don't know why in the world they would want that again. I don't know why John Q public would want that again.
I think with Romney he felt he couldn't win and maybe the vote will go for Huckabee, but if the Republicans think that McCain is a shoe in will the Republicans cross over in the remaining primaries and vote for Obama. That would no doubt eliminate Hillary..
