When sermons like this are preached in mosques and madrassas, we panic and conclude that radical islamists are being created who will threaten this country with violence. What exactly makes this any different? Sometimes I am truly afraid for the president.

I think it's worse because the US has gone to war to try to stop some of the hate crimes that are perpetrated on others within certain countries.
It was difficult to listen to and I found it very unsettling. I realize there is freedom of speech but I view this as a hate crime against the leader of his own country and he's using random passages from the bible to hide behind, saying that God hates President Obama so wants him to hate him also. Not only is he encouraging his congregation to hate as he does, he is encouraging the demise of the president.
I pity Steven Anderson's four children and all children that are raised by any hateful person such as him. Profe, I fear for President Obama also.

Liberals just hate free speech when it's the "wrong" speech.
But I'll explain it to you.
On the one hand, you have a whack nut who defines violations of God's law and predicts all kinds of holy retribution.
On the other hand, you have a whack nut who defines violations of God's law and predicts all kinds of holy retribution and helps God out by chopping off people's heads.

Your comparison and contrast is facile squirrel. This preacher is no different from all the mullahs in all the mosques who are praying for violence. They aren't the ones doing the chopping and neither is he. But they are responsible for causing that violence, and when our camo clad "patriots" with their tree of liberty T-shirts do something stupid, he'll be just as culpable.
Religious hatred is religious hatred, and always brings out the vermin.
the biggest problem with religion is that those with the most blind faith are being taken advantage of by carnival ring leaders like this wingnut in the link shown above.

Wrong. The major problem is the legions of morons who have "blind" faith.
This is the reason I can't be a liberal. The "It hasn't worked the last 500 times, maybe we'll get lucky with 501" method of operation grates against my scientific education.

That's exactly what I said. those who have faith in something blindly, while ignoring the obvious truth's.
you can use blind faith to describe most of the situations where moronic behavior takes place like:
either science is wrong and that book written by people 6-700 years after some story was passed along here and there is the actual word of the magical guy in the sky
OR
only one news station tells people the truth about politics and the rest of their own country and the majority of the planet have had the wool pulled over their eyes
"blind faith" = ignoring rational thought in favor of more desired outcomes (self serving)
this is why I can't be religious (one of millions of reasons.) if your just going to change the rules to fit the times, weren't the rules BS to begin with?
