Someone gave me the book Needful Things. Was this a movie?
I know I did not read this but the thing sounds familiar.

Yes, it was a movie. In fact, it was on TV just last week. Ed Harris plays the sheriff, I think Max Von Sydow plays Gaunt & there are a host of other well known actors in the parts. Can't recall what role Stephen had in it..he's usually somewhere in each of his movies, a la Hitchcock.

Thanks. I guess it was one of those movies that I listened to while painting. I don't really pay attention but they kind of seep into my mind while I work.
