Gore has 260 electoral votes, 11 more would make him the winner. Tennessee has 11 electorial votes that Bush won. Imagine if Gore had put those efforts he put into Florida into winning his home state.

I think it is sad that he didn't win his own state but it really doesn't matter. I'm sure a lot of people in Texas didn't vote for Bush (although he did win his state.) Melanie
