Antiquary hasn't posted a word here since September 21st. I hope he's okay.
Pareau hasn't posted here since October 30th. Hope pareau's okay too.
I get the feeling there are still other regular posters who have gone AWOL in the last month or so though at the moment my mind's gone blank. All I know is, it feels like the cohesion, continuity, community -- call it what you will -- of this and other OAI boards has taken a serious hit. Even those "oldtimers" who remain seem to be posting less frequently.
I have my own ideas about why it's happened, as I'm sure many of you do too. I think it sucks.

Hi Spaz, Up until the other day I was wondering the same thing about you!
I have been wondering about antiquary too, and pareau. I do hope they are ok and I really miss their posts. Zippy is gone too. Lots of folks have just disappeared off the boards. Well, this one anyway.

Well, since the search party I sent out for YOU is still not back someone else will have to launch one.
I've noticed a bunch of people are missing in action. I figure everyone needs a break once in awhile and that they will be back.
Admit it, we always come back.

Antiquary is fine, better than he has been in some time. I have regular evening news of him as well as some conversations that are more in depth than what might be possible in here.
I'm sure he'd be happy to hear from you, spaz, if you'd care to email him. In fact, I'm pretty sure that he would rather that then have his name associated with any generalized reason based in your "I have my own ideas about why it's happened, as I'm sure many of you do too. I think it sucks."

Shadowcat! How devious! He'll never find it there until it is too late. It'll be all dry and crispy and stuck to his socks and then he'll have to carefully peel it off and half of the sock will come with it!

This is so frustrating! I wish people would realize that I'm just plain stoooopid and simply don't get innuendo and insuination (plus I can't spell that).
I got no idea why people have stopped posting here, although I do miss a lot of them. I'd like to know what other people think, don't leave me to my own imagination, I'll come up with a blank screen.
Just say what you mean. Spaz, why do you think certain people have stopped posting here and why do you think it sucks?
Edited to add - Shadowcat, I do understand hairballs, I've stepped on enough of 'em with my bare feet so I would take your threat seriously.

We had a cat who would eat the tinsel off the Christmas tree, then hork it up somewhere. Gave the hairball a festive look, that's for sure.

I've also checked my emails for the boards and can add my reassurances that Antiquary is just fine, he's in my hotmail mailbox too.
I don't really understand why he's emailing me under different usernames from different addresses, often ending in .uk and asking me "ARE YOU HORNY?", alerting me to, "HOTTEST ADULT SITE ON THE NET VISIT NOW!!" and sending me "INFO YOU REQUESTED" that I can't remember requesting, but whatever his reasons are, it's good to know he's alive and kicking.

Jada - I know what you mean....half the time I have no idea what a lot of these people are even talking about but I still like to read. I do miss reading Antiquary and Pareau's posts - in fact, Pareau was the first person who helped me on here when I needed it. It's fun and besides, I like fooling around with the smilies
