Well I am hoping the "George Dubya" would stick.
Not exactly happy with the outcome but just another example of Partisian Politics in action. A predominately Democratic Florida Supreme Court rules for Gore. A predominately Republican appointed Supreme Court rules for Bush in absence of a Federal Question in the matter.
All this really proves is America needs a viable third party to break this nonsense up. However, with a 50/50 Senate the Bush Cabinet confirmation hearings should be a blast. And we get to see him tell his first lie about appointing Democratic to a cabinet position. I wonder how quickly will his supporters justify that lie with a perfectly good sounding justification.
After a month of this nonsense No One Can Ever Fanthom That Their Vote Doesn't Count So hopefully that lesson resonates through out the country.
