My understanding is that "come the millenium" means ...as the millenium approaches. This is the 12th month approaching the millenium. Yes? No?

Nostradamus knew that an idiot leader was sure to surface
*sometime* in the future. He probably tossed a few curses
into his book also. Let us pray that we don't have to deal
with an idiot and a curse.
