Hello everybody! Ok, this was a little idea I had...since I am currently without a job. Many of you are extremely busy with your auctions. And, of course, I am sure it can be a hassle to do all the paperwork, etc., that goes along with it, though you enjoy the income. I would love to be able to do the same, but I, unlike most of you, do not have the money to play with in order to make auctioning a steady income. SO, I was wondering if anybody was interested in hiring a "secretary" to help with their auction sales! Or, heck, if you have some other job opportunity for me, online or otherwise, (Bloomington, Indiana), please let me know! E-mail me at: [email protected]. Thanks everybody!

Hehe, I can do just about anything as long as it's not immoral. I am a poor college kid, trying to make rent! Help!

You can start on eBay with $20.00 and a weekend to go to some estate sales or auctions. If you go around or write to all the self-store businesses in your area they will put you on their auction list. The last two storage lockers I bought I bid $1 for one and $2 for the other. I've made about $600 in sales out of the two. I also have sold several hundred dollars a month of things I have picked up from the ground next to dumpsters.
A suggestion - Your collage peers are probably a better source of part time jobs than us. The ones that are supplied with money by their parents spend it freely and would bay you to act as a shopping service
or other personal things for them.

Hehe, jobs. I want one, but am all confused as to where I want to go. I _am_ graduating this Spring...I was actually scheduled to graduate next year, but I passed out of a lot of foreign language credit (thanks to my High School foreign language program being _great_) and am graduating a year early. My major is Linguistics...and I am interested in interpreting, but I am extremely humbled by the amount of training that takes and how saturated the market is with people who are native speakers of multiple languages, when my only native language is English. I am dipping a little into the Computer pot...I have a friend who has gotten me very interested in this kind of stuff, and I'm thinking of getting my MCSE (Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer)...basically, I am interested in a lot of stuff, and love to learn, so if you have some prospect, throw it at me, I might give it a whirl.
