Clinton didn't make any converts. The pardon was wrong, if the pardon was due to contributions it was very wrong.

With Clinton I have to notice that he says there is no evidence of wrong doing not that what he did was not wrong. There is a huge difference. I am sure that he made sure there was no evidence. He has gotten better since the dress thing.
Don't anybody think that makes me a Bush fan.
They are all scumbags by the time they get that high.

In defending is pardon of Rich, Clinton said "Prominent Republicans as well as Democrats supported the pardon, including Leonard Garment, who was Richard Nixon's lawyer; William Bradford Reynolds, a high-ranking official in the Reagan Justice Department; and Lewis "Scooter" Libby, Vice President Dick Cheney's chief of staff."
Just another lie. Big surprise!!! All three have denied that statement is true. And since their denial, Clinton has backed off that statement.
Remember, we must always 'read' Clintons carefully chosen words. He said (quote) "There's not a single, solitary shred of evidence that I did anything wrong or that his (Rich's) money changed hands." AND (quote) "And there's certainly no evidence that I took any of it." We'll wait and see.
