I am in Pennsylvania...and we got hit with snow today, ugh, just when I was beginning to see the grass again...just the other day it was so spring-like here, I didn't have to wear a jacket...just a sweatshirt
I am sooooooooo ready for spring and summer, this past October we bought a new house with a pool and all I can do is think about floating around in it all day in a loungechair...hmph

Kaffro: You read my mind, I was just about to complain about the snow too! I'm in PA, in the Stroudsburg area and all day they kept saying on the radio - "chill out, it's only going to be a dusting!" Well, now it's about a good 8 inches out there (just shoveled the walks to get a head start) and it's still snowing.
I keep telling myself that spring is just around the corner. We've had a good share of snow here this winter and I'm ready to see the end of it!
I'll join you on that floating lounge chair!

Christina...girl, join me in the pool! The more the merrier! I will make us some nice cold iced tea and we can just float all day and work on our savage tans
8 inches!?!?!? Wow! We have about 4 or so, and it's still coming down, it looks pretty, but, ugh! I am tired of shoveling it...we have a long driveway and thankfully our awesome neighbor comes a plows it for us when it gets past 4 inches...he's a peach!

I remember snow. I traded it for palm trees and a pool I can use all the time.

It's been snowing since about 1PM here in Philadelphia. It's slacked off quite a bit but it's still comin' down. I'll be doing some shoveling tomorrow.
Did someone mention a pool party?

Kaffro-Pennsylvania is beautiful, my son-in-law is from there. What I'd like is to spend a white Christmas someplace then come home immediately afterwards.

I live in the State College PA area....spitting snow here. The roads were pretty messy earlier. I hate this weather. HATE it. Can't wait for the heat.

Being a Gulf Coaster, I have to say it looks pretty.
But I won't drive in it. That's asking too much of my Fl. car.

Snow here too, in Southern Indiana. Grrrr, the tulips and daffodils were even starting to come out for the spring...though they hadn't bloomed yet, thankfully. We didn't get that much snow, but 2 days ago, it was sooooo nice outside...wore a T-shirt, no jacket.
I HATE cold weather!
snowyegret: I miss the gulf coast too! Bring on the heat and humidity!!! I don't care, it's all better than this cold-weather junk.

Xardon makes a good case for the revival of full-coverage bathing suits.
----
More than the snow, which I detest, it's the cold I really mind this year.
I am just sick! sick! sick! of it.
But, the sight of robins last week gives me hope that I will be warm again some day.
