I hope some of our AW friends can use this information. My Dad was recently diagnosed with terminal non-small cell lung cancer and given no treatment options other than a course of radiation to temporarily shrink the largest tumor. It is inoperable and he cannot tolerate chemotherapy due to heart condition, diabetes, tumor site, etc. After some research for alternative treatments on the web, we came across www.lowdosenaltrexone.org and a Dr. Bernard Bihari of New York who has been doing wonderful things with "hopeless" cases. We just talked to him on the telephone for 2 hours today, and he is overnighting this medication for Dad to start tomorrow. He is very well-credentialed and has numerous doctorates and will appear before the National Cancer Institute next month in order to interest them into getting drug companies to finance clinical studies for this form of treatment for cancer and MS. He first used it to treat HIV sufferers when friends with cancers started asking for it.
The consultation is pricey, but under $500, but the drug itself only costs about $40/month. Please, if you know of someone who has been written off by doctors, give them this web link and let them decide for themselves.
Please also send good healing thoughts out for my dad, who has been caring for my mother for years. She could use the good wishes too, as she has a milder form of the deadly Lou Gehrig's disease, and deteriorates every year.
I hope this will get out to someone that needs it!
