Hi Muriel!
Thanks for asking about Sam! Sorry for not replying sooner, the kids were out of school this week and I haven't been online much.
Sammy has been very naughty lately - digging holes all over the backyard, and generally driving me crazy. He's still my sweetie boy though, I just can't resist those big brown eyes! 
He's getting much bigger too, almost 40 lbs now, he was 6 1/2 lbs when we got him. How big did your Cliffie get? The vet said he thinks Sammy will be bigger than average (about 70 lbs), so much for getting the runt of the litter!
No new pics right now, I did take some the other day but have been too lazy to put them on the computer and upload them, I'll probably post some next week after the kids are back in school and I've regained a little sanity.
Have a happy Easter, and watch out for the peeps!

Tootsie: Cliffie was big; he was about 80 lbs. And he LOVED to dig with those big old paws. I don't know what to advise you regarding that. Some dogs dig, and some don't. But most outgrow it. Cliffie did.

Hope you don't mind my interrupting, but I think I've finally figured out this FTP stuff and want to try a test.

BlondeSense: I was really depressed when I saw that a Peep thread could be locked. But then I saw your puppy's new "do" and just cracked up. I think on that note I'll call it a day. Thanks for the picture. It was great!

Oh TOOTSIEPOP!! Sam IS my Cliffie reincarnated! It just brings tears to my eyes to see him!! I would give anything to have your dog. Don't leave him unattended.

Tootsiepop: I can't believe there is another Cliffie out there! He was an Airedale mix and I never thought I'd see another one! Is that what Sam is? If you EVER decide to find him a new home, please let me know. I would drive far and wide to get him! I just called my daughter into the room so she could see him. It's just amazing. Thanks for the pictures. I'm dying to see if he looks like Cliffie as an adult. I'm sure he will.

I think he is darling...but most of all I look at those feet and I wonder, will he grow into them? I guess he is a pretty special part of your life? How great for both of you.

Muriel - Sam is a purebred Airedale (or so we were told). I could never part with my guy, (besides my girls would sooner get rid of me than Sam LOL), but if I ever did you would be at the top of my list! If you're interested in one of Sams brothers or sisters I could e-mail you with the name of the breeder. I don't know where you are though, it could be quite a road trip!
Zilvy - Yes he is, my husband says he's the son I never had . I keep wondering about those feet myself, if he does grow into them I'll have to get a second job just to keep him in dog food!
