According to a report published today by MSNBC, after 6 1/2 years the FCC has stated its policy on primetime obscenity guidelines. For example you can't say you f*rted, but you can call someone a f*rt. You can say that you fuc*ed up, but you can't use the word to refer to a sex act. What do you think about this and what will be AW's policy in light of these newly clarified government standards? Or will AW immediately lock or otherwise censor this thread about censorship?

Somehow, I don't think private BB's fall under the FCC jurisdiction in this case.

Actually this is stated in the news brief:

"Remember, these regulations apply only to FCC-regulated broadcast stations - not to print publications or Web sites..."

That should answer your question, stusi.

powerhouse- i am aware of the parameters of the ruling and the private status of this board, but wanted to see what would ensue nevertheless. thanks, joice. i knew you were just f*rting around.
