I know this thread will not be around long, so read it quick.
First Aw, got rid of the moderator's corner. I figure that eliminates anyone knowing how others feel about the moderation issues. These opinions obviously do not matter to AW anyway.
Next when their partner service representative cannot answer a tough question when paypal is caught twisting the facts and propaganda, suddenly the thread gets locked
Now we are down to peopel telling the moderators what to do based on a set number of friends that will or will not join/leave AW.
Combine that with AW telling poeple to email and get permission before posting a topic to these boards.
Now tell me where this has any resemblence
to a useful forum for the exchange of ideas, or discussion, or communication on anything. The tactics of AW closely resemble the ones employed by a ceo of an auction site that was banned from here.
Maybe they thought he would let their secrets out.
It is a shame, I used to think AW was a great place to learn more about internet auctions, and other useful information. But it seems that it is more about propaganda and control of people's minds and speech.
I am sure my father is turning over in his grave. He fought in a war to keep this kind of thing from happening here, as did millions of others.
my best hope is to see AW end up with a grand total of the 16 members they placated.
Like I said, read this fast, it will probably be off the boards as quick as I will be.
