Add me to the "thank yous". It was a wonderful post and I want to get in here before this one is shot down. 
I think it's obvious to all of us what a lack of faith does to a person.
I just want to say that no matter what certain people chose to disbelieve, I believe HE IS RISEN!

I love to hear all points of view about religion - I am living this life to learn all I can about all people - but my heart is Christian.
Easter is about renewal - rebirth. Faith. Easter strengthens my faith, every year, without fail.
Rick - have a wonderous day with your family. I intend to do the same.
Ken - you have a wonderous day, too. Just don't eat too much chocolate - it makes you cranky. 
PLEASE, people. Let's not do religious battle on this day. Live and let live. Respect. Geez.

Have you ever listened to a drunk running on about keeping kids off drugs? A way-drunk, smoking cigarettes carelessly, demanding death for marijuana smokers?

Bobbi - I know. I was hoping that would reach others and keep the baloney from restarting here. I think it's a shame that a thread started in honor of Easter, pointing out that Easter isn't really about a big bunny and eggs got so sidetracked.

A good day every day to all you folks whether you believe the same as me or not. Guy at the university was celebrating a holiday in his religion and had some treats there. He said do you want some cake? Then caught himself and said you don't believe in this holiday do you? I said no - but I believe in cake -want me to get us some coffee? Seem good enough to him.

THANK YOU ALL! It has been a wonderful day....my sister in law went to the hospital to give birth to her 4th child-my 10 year old son is praying for a male cousin this time! I saw a glorious sunrise at the service before we went to the hospital. Next Saturday we will have Easter dinner together, but for now it has been wonderful. I really didn't want to cut that thread short, but thought it was best under the circumstances. Once again, THANK YOU ALL!!
