HOW LONG BEFORE THE GOVERMENT STEPS IN AND STARTS A INTERNET SALES TAX ??
That will apply to goods purchased on the net.

this issue has been kicking around for several years. there is so much money being spent on the internet that the amount of taxes collected would be astronomical. as much as the government would like to get its share, the logistics of actually collecting it is a tremendous problem. it may be many years before any viable plan could be put into effect.

I think we will see an access tax before we see sales tax. Everyone connected will have to pay a monthly tax, just like we now pay a tax for phone service.

Sure! You have to have something to replace the funds lost in repealing the access fee for the Spanish-American War last year.
