Worked at this FANTASTIK Maine summer camp back in the 60's!

Had been known as the oldest boys summer camp in the country. I think back in 1900 by Lou Fleischer, a really neat guy who had been on the American Olympic fencing team sometime in the early 1900's. Really likeed "Uncle" Lou -- he kind of took me under his generous wing back in my HS years.

Some of the wealthiest Jewish families from all over the world sent their kids there. A regular "Who'sWho" of the best of the best!

Anyway, I was just fooling around with SEARCH & discovered that KENNEBEC is NO MORE! Now some Yuppie Tennis&Golf camp! Very depressing -- this place had been a real institution!

Any folks out there know the place?
