Apparently AW management has lightened up when it comes to allowing suspended posters return to the boards prematurely. Seems as long as the return is requested by one or two members whose posting privileges remain intact, then the suspension is lifted -- even ones we thought were permanent. For example, Borillar tells us that several members requested the return of a suspended member recently and voila, said member was reinstated before even half his suspension time was up. Now today we see the return of artdoggy, subject of a thread in EO several days ago in which members begged AW for her return.

So here I am, spazmodeus, member in good standing, requesting the return of Ross, Aurorah, Coach and Hellcat. After all, fair's fair, and if AW's going to display mercy to other suspended posters, then they should extend the same courtesy to all suspended posters. It's the only fair thing to do. If rules aren't applied fairly and consistently, it only causes resentment and leads to charges of favoritism, subjective moderation and general discord.

I'm not sure whether Ross, Aurorah, Coach or Hellcat want to return, but I thought I'd get the paperwork started by making the request, just in case.

In the thread to return artdoggy, the posters making the request cited that artdoggy was interesting, "the best poster," etc. I submit that things would be a lot more interesting around here if Ross, Aurorah, Coach and Hellcat could return too, if they desire.

I'm 100% sincere and I hope AW will apply the same degree of seriousness when reviewing my request.

Alas, none of those posters can come back. Truthfully I was not in Paris, weep, I was in a cyber jail for bad girl posters. I am so sorry to say the posters you just mentioned where sniff cry, EXECUTED for their cyber crimes. I however was very good in cyber jail, committed time to community service (and was on very friendly terms with a couple of guards)and was let out on VERY GOOOOOOOOOOD Behavior. I understand where you are coming from. I wish they were back too.

Spaz,

You know that I have to lock this thread. Discussing suspended members who cannot participate in the conversation is inappropriate for our Message Center.

I'll certainly bring your request to the attention of Administration, though.

Pat
