I stay out of the City as much as I can. A story on the news tonight kinda reminds me why.
A fellow flew into Detroit today - rents a car at the airport and goes into town. First stop he makes somebody rips his car off while he is inside. Reports it to police. A couple hours later the police get a call that someone has just seen a carjacking in progress and when the police go out the people driving it have fled. Yep! the car thieves had their new toy jacked right out from under them. Later they crash the thing out by the airport almost back where it came from.
Kind of like a pirana tank with sharks. Bad and badder.
