Is there anyone here who's ever listed on Auctionweiser, and if so what did you think about their listing form? Pretty bizarre IMHO--but definately has some cool features.
The site's in serious need of sellers and I'm in serious need of more listings so figured I'd throw my bunch into their pot, LOL.

I listed a few items on there for the last few months or so. I usually sell about 2 to 4 auctions a week on there. I believe that time is on there side. They have excellent services, as well as support.

I have been listing on AuctionWeiser on and off since around October. Their listing page is very unique in a way. I found it a little confsing at first, but got the hang of it within a few posts. Some very usful features in the form, but I usually us the bulk uploader instead. Its faster and is basically almost the same..

Thank you--I sure do appreciate the input! I put a handful of listings there last evening. I agree the listing form takes a little getting used to. As soon as my eyes recover from the color scheme I'll try to get some more up there.

I also must say the support with them has improved tremendously. These recently send out a e-mail to their members, and explaining that the now will offer live support and round the click support as well. Seems to be very interesting. I think that most people should at least give them a try. It’s definitely worth the trip!
Just my own thoughts though.

Pactsys,
I am curious what do you sell? What is the price range? I doubt if any of my collectibles would sell there!

I sell a variety of items. Most of them include computer components, video, collectibles, etc. My lowest auction that I ever run is $7.00, and my highest auction that I run is about $175.00. I guess the sweet spot of my items ranges from $15.00 - 55.00 dollars. Though I have sold a few items that were over $100.00.

Checked out the site... Looks interesting... Seems that they could use a few more sellers, but the seller/bidder ratio seems to be there. I'll give them a try and see how well I do.
Until then

I haven't had time to get anymore listings up on Auctionweiser so only have my measly 6--but I have a bid on one of them already! And it's an item I've listed on ePier and BidVille with no success.

Hello everyone,
Just wanted to give an update on the auctions that I had recently listed on Auctionweiser. So far, 3 out of my 12 new auctions that were listed have been purchased by their buy now feature. The bidders are comming.. More and more it seems. And now they have just setup some sort of flat fee shops. I'm going to check em out and seem what I find.
Best regards,
Ken

That's great news! I got quite a bit of information from the folks who run the site to do a nice article for them in my newsletter yesterday.
Personally I feel their biggest draw back is the design of the site because they have a super idea in place. I know they're working hard at getting their site off the ground and with the new features they're adding will hopefully draw more sellers.
BTW, they're also working on re-designing the listing page. I think that will be a big help because it sure made my eyes tired in a hurry, LOL.

I had finally checked this site out a little more, and it really does show some promise. I received a weekly newsletter from them a few days ago; and it seems to tell a lot about what is going on with them. The live tech support is also very helpful. And the actually took the suggestions that I had, and implemented some of them. Seems very interesting.. I will have to investigate more as well. The only thing is everything I write some new about auctionweiser, they seem to release better and newer services. Its hard to keep up with them.
It my be just my opinion, but I think that they might be a contender within the next few months. I guess will all just have to wait and see.

AuctionBoss, I find it very reassuring when you send a suggestion to a site owner and they listen and follow through. And that is exactly what Auctionweiser has been doing so far.
I took a peak at their listing page today and was ecstatic to see they took out the red bars. I shouldn't have any problem listing there now!

I cannot speak for all, but I can speak for my auctions that I list on this site. I have been there since about April or so, and I sell anywhere from 5 to 7 auctions a week on Auctionweiser. And it has slowly been growing to more sales per week. Maybe they weren't doing any then. I do not know. I guess it can also be timing, and the types of products that you sell on there.
What types of products did you sell?
Best regards,
Ken

I have listed about 5 or six items already on the auctionweiser, and I had two winning bidders at the close of the auctions. I have only been there for about a week or so, and I have already have successful auctions on there. Maybe they stepped up advertising? Don't know. But it looks like they are doing something right.

I have some more info about Auctionweiser. I was snooping around the site, and I found out that they have launched their affiliate program (which looks interesting), and a slew of different services. I am also seriously considering joining their gold shop flat fee program. It looks like there is somebody who is listening to our wants and needs. I'd rather pay a flat fee, then a comission fee everytime I sell an auction.
I'm telling ya, the more I find out about this auction, the more I seem to like it. Did I mention that they offer online support?? Fast, friendly, and mostly free. Remind's me of the original eBay back in 1996. Ahh, I miss those days. Do you know, a seller could list an item on the front page of eBay back in 1996 for only $5.00... Now, it's like $99.00 or something.
Anyway, I think that this site is truly worth checking out.
Best regards,
Ken

I just checked out Auctionweiser, I found the search feature confusing to say the least. I am going back and survey the site again, but I had a heck of a time trying to get anything to come up what I'd consider a standard search.
Oh well, maybe it is just me.

I decided to give it a try - what a WEIRD posting operation, this site will have to really produce to get me to weed through their posting method too often. I have never encountered a site with such an "bizarre" set up. Personally, I don't care for the format, but if it can produce, then I can live with the set up.
We will see what it does.
I "THOUGHT" that everything in red had to be filled in, so I put in a short description, and when I previewed I found I'd been charged 75 cents for that, so I went back and took it out.

You say you are getting 5 to 7 sales a week there - how many auctions are you having to post to get that many sales? And may I ask the price range you are posting in?
I never hear of the site till I ran into this thread, it sure isn't advertised. I see it is headquartered in New York.

Hello everyone,
I sell some computer software and hardware on the site, as well as on some of the other niche auction sites as well. I prefer niche sites due to the fact that they are easier to deal with, and they listen to their members suggestions. I stubmled onto Auctionweiser while doing a search on About.com. There are some neat auction and marketplace sites out there. I guess you just have to look. Yes, the wek of the 25 of June, I had sold 7 items on there. THis past week I sold 3. Hey, there's now lsting fees, and only a small commission. What do you have to loose. There item submit page does take a few times to get used to. But where else can your set the start and end time by the minute. Plus, the site gives you a variety of different services at no charge. I guess not all sites are for everyone, but I think that this site has some potential. The items that I list on BidVille or ePier don't always sell out right. All sites need time to grow. ePier has been around since 1998 or so. It took them about 2 1/2 years to catch on. Within time, I feel they will succeed.
Best regards,
Ken

I agree that the listing page takes a little getting used to. I think I had all of my auctions in the wrong category, LOL.
And the search feature is a little odd. I wrote to the folks at Auctionweiser to find out about a few different things because I noticed on the listing page there's a place to add keywords for searches. I was wondering if those were required to have auctions show up in the search engine. I was told they aren't required fields.
I think it would be a good idea for them to change the listing page so that features that have charges show the features right in the area. I've been told that if you hover your curser over those spots information about them will come up. I still think they need to change it as per my suggestion, but then that's my own think-sos, LOL.
They did take out the red lines on the listing page which caused me severe eye strain. I'm so glad of that.

I agree with you 100% about site suggestions, and for sites to actually listen to its members, and to actually do what they say they are going to do. So far, I have been seeing a lot of changes at Auctionweiser. At least this site listen's to us. Unlike some other auction sites.

It looks like Auctionweiser has added some new features to the site. They have updated their community section, as well as add an affiliates program, and upgraded their on-line live tech support to a full six hours a day. It seems some one lit a fire under them.
I wush they put more of their services on the front page or something. It can bee a little hassle to find their complete services unless they post news on it, or link it up on their sitemap.
I will also be checking out BidVille, ePier, and some other to see what other services that they have to offer.

How do,
I have been selling off and one at auctionweiser, and been basically seeing what sells good their. After using their bulk uploader tool, I was able to list several more auctions, then via single submiision, and I find that collectibles, electronics, home accesories sell pretty well there.
I went to their chat board, and it could a little more excitement. Who knows... I guess time will tell.
