The following is from an email I received from ePier. Sounds like they're doing better than I thought which is great to hear! If they ever can afford to advertise the floodgates might open! Sounds like there's a good group of folks over there.

ePier.com is becoming more financially self-sufficient!
This weeks newletter topic is on the financial health of ePier.com. And there is great news. Our latest monthly numbers indicate that ePier is half way there towards self-sufficiency. This means great things for us. By keeping the sharks of outside venture money at bay, we can continue to stay independent and will have more user control. In the shadows of many dot-com business closures, ePier has managed to grow stronger in all areas of our business. This is all due in part to great management and small but dedicated group of elite developers at ePier center.
Congratulations on making ePier one of the Premier auction venues today. Many of you have chosen to support ePier. You have given us the confidence and the green light to provide you with even greater services and to fund additional improvements. The member verification fee along with auction enhancements from hundreds and hundreds of members together has amounted to a sizeable sum that has made all the worlds difference.
Beginning sometime this week, perhaps as early as tomorrow, ePier will be rolling out some real Premium Services that many of you have been asking for. Although these premium services incur costs related to additional hardware, software, development, and administration, they will be at the very best prices found anywhere on the net. Premium Services will include packaged together, unlimited use of personal gallery with paging, unlimited use of your own storefront without per item listing fee, unlimited use of classified ads, $5 credit back towards auction enhancements per month, and last but not least, member verification is included. WOW!

I am sorry but Epier has a long way to go before they become a good alternative. The chat board is a war zone! That is 1 reason I left but also I left due to the fact that I lost sales due to the fighting on the boards. And the owner just can't be bothered with it. When they aren't concerned about sellers and buyers leaving that is a serious problem! There are some very nice people there some I still chat with. But the feedom they speak of has just diminished they cancelled a bumch of sellers auctions.

exactly vinnie,,Epier is kicking out one group of militaria sellers,,after charging them to sell..one person had auctions closed.new rules..no repros...they seem to be leaving in droves..
Yes,chat where you click on home page coffee cup then scroll down(or you will miss it) to main chat..Wow...used to be great for tips & info..anyway.that's why i left too..i mentioned a glitch..& got attacked..
a shame...had high hope..they just did a SELF DESTRUCT..crazy dayz is right!

Right on, the sellers there gave their all and the site owners are at least as greedy as ebay and definitly not as competant

I have a handful of auctions at Epier. I would have listed more, but on 3 different occasions, I have written to customer service and have never received a single reply.

The problem lies with the management and the fact that they just don't seem to care. And don't try to have a phone conversation with them. They are trying to be Ebay and can't even come close. There is an old saying that reminds me of Epier "don't bite the hand that feeds you" well their seller are the feeders and Epier has bitten their hands. Why stay where you are clearly not wanted.
