Hmmm. I'm not sure if the site is actually beta-testing or not. The Max Loader is in the beta-test phase.
No, there aren't many auctions listed there currently. Hopefully that will grow.
Normally when I start using a site I try to buy a few things first and develop a feel for the site along with working up some feedback. With so few listings (and nothing I could find that I wanted) I had to take the plunge straight into the listing side of it and am happy to report that two new buyers were willing to take a chance on me.
The Cash Cow program sure is fun. I thought I was finished with my cow herding days at least until I get my orchard up to a size where I can plant pasture. Now I'm chasing those darned things all over Carnaby, LOL.

Isn't Carnaby still Beta testing???
Doesn't look like it, if they are there's no mention of it that I could see on the site, looks fully functional, if a tad "eBay-ish" to me....
edited to include the question being responded to....

I looked at the Cash Cow "rules", and decided to pass on signing up after reading:
"By participating in this Program, you agree that Carnaby may contact you from time to time with Carnaby Dollar account information and about special offers, new products and programs in Carnaby Dollar. You acknowledge and agree that Carnaby will disclose to third parties certain personally identifying information provided by you as part of the Registration Data in order that such third parties can send you Prizes that you redeem with your Dollars."
I get *way* too much junk email as it is, I have no desire to voluntarily ask for more....

Relayerone, I'll be your personal spam reporter, okay? So far the only e-mails I've received have been from Carnaby themselves, mostly with information about the Max Loader. If it starts pouring in I'll let you know because I don't like spam, either, and that mail account is one that has so far been spam-free.

Dear dimview
We'd like to thank you for sharing our listing history in this forum. We believe your efforts will serve as a testimonial to our charter members' commitment.
It is very easy for an auction site to inflate its listings. We could have easily followed that route. Carnaby has chosen to let its membership guide, develop and judge its own .comMUNITY.

A periodic sales history like ePier, or a weekly statistics report would be welcome since I cannot find a way to ascertain the number of total closed auctions and total closed auctions with bids.

Our Management Team agrees that the presentation of historical data is definitely a good and positive idea.
We do not feel that posting these results would be representative right now, since we are engaged in the very initial phase of our bulk loader test.
We have been candid with the program's participants about our expectations, and we are confident that they are aware of our goals and schedule.
