Hi all! I just got the Max Lader at Carnaby, and its great! I had some trouble getting it downloaded, and their support person stayed on AIM until 2 am helping me out! Anyways, right now you get free listings and fvf's are waived if you test drive the max loader. All you have to do is register..check it out!

Yes it is nice. Still has a few bugs in it but very usable. Needs a few more tools added to it. I also found their CS very helpful and was also up one night till 2am with their support.

Great CS! Note, that the new version should be out today, with some needed bug fixes!

WoW, that is good news. I have used the loader and it's really nice, inspite of the couple of improvements it needed. I will go there now and try to download the updates.

I checked Carnaby's board a few minutes ago and the patch for Max Loader should be available very shortly. When they posted it they were making it available for download.

giftsbyangie,
Your enthusiasm is refreshing, but you are starting to sound like a commercial. Try to avoid things like 'you should try and you will get' type wording, which is promotional.
Feel free to repost without the promotional wording.

I have just checked out the Max Loader program for the first time. Wow! It's the best thing since sliced bread from what I have seen so far. Will keep you posted if I find anything "non wow!" about it.

Are items selling on Carnaby yet? Haven't signed up yet and don't want to if there's no traffic.

Geez, I meant no disrespect to Auction Watch at all. There certainly is alot of moderation going on here....
I actually sold something there after only 4 hours. I can't say to go try it..but I THINK I am allowed to say my opinion...when you look, it doesnt look like there is many items listed, but thats because there are so many catagories. I believe there are a lot of buyers there. They have lots of incentive programs, and I love the max loader. Thats just my opinion.

eSeller004, I've sold two items and currently have a bid on one more. The site needs listings, point blank. Why not add a few to the pot? Very shortly Carnaby is going to launch a 'test' market campaign and they are hoping to have many more listings up for their marketing campaign later this fall.
I guess I figure it this way. If there's going to be a site that will become a viable marketplace I'm not going to wait for someone else to do the work and then jump on the band wagon. I'll spend some of my time trying to help get it there.

I sure like the site but have not sold anything yet. Why don't everyoen go bid one something of mine so I feel better.

I moved my post to the just started "Carnaby" thread because it was more general positive comments on my experience with the site rather than the specific Max loader.

I just had a batch of 6 auctions close with one winning bid. I intend to relist some items during the coming week.
I tried the Max program for the first time and was very impressed with it. That program makes the other bulk listing programs out there look like junk! It also has a built-in image editing program plus free image hosting on the Carnaby site. The amazing thing is that the image stuff is all part of the Max program, so you can do all your listing chores, including editing and adding images, all within the program without having to use a separate program for the images.
From what I can see, the worst part about the Max Loader program AND the Carnaby site is that there isn't much to complain about!!!! Makes for boring reading on the chat boards sometimes!
However, the one thing I noticed about the Max Loader program that isn't all that clear when you first use it that takes a bit getting used to, is that once you upload the items to their server you have to go back to the main page and click the SELL link, then log-in to the Max Loader and start the auctions from there. The listings don't become active until you do this. This has been discussed on the Max Loader board there, and the Item Listing Board as well. But it sure is an easy and user friendly program to use!
Also, the Cash Cow program on Carnaby is great. Once you use up your daily limit of points, you can get bonus points for adding you auction listings.
I am using Max exclusively now to type up my listings, as it is a great way to create an inventory list. This is a very busy time of year, but I am hacking away getting ready to post LOTS of items in the next week or so. I think this site will really take off once sellers and buyers find out how user friendly it is, plus - all the sweepstakes they have are certainly an added attraction.
My user ID at Carnaby (or eBay)is not goldensands. I don't have anything listed now, as my first batch just closed this week, but if anyone wants my Carnaby user ID send me an email at [email protected] and I'll send it to you. Just give me lots of time to reply, as this is a busy week coming up here.

Well all I can say it's high time for someone to take a poke at the auction industry and with features like the Max loader this just might be the one!

I've tried the Max Loader program and just can't say enough good things about it. It sure takes the drudgery out of the listing process. I don't know how I ever managed without it, in fact!

Max is going to change history, for sure. From now on historians will divide the calendar years into Pre-Max and Post-Max eras. This will now be year 2001ML
Those of us who have groped our way around various bulk-listing programs will certainly wonder how we ever managed in the dark ages prior to our 'Meeting with Max!' We will be known as the Pre-Max generation - a frustrated, bedraggled, glitch-ridden crew.
The Post-Max generation, however, will be happy, prosperous and content. In fact, doctors are now prescribing Online Auction Sellers with high blood pressure a hefty dose of 'Max' twice daily.
I jest only slightly. The Max Loader program is excellent and will certainly be a boon those who use it. Thanks to the Carnaby Crew for a great contribution to the online auction industry!
