Hi, these figures sound correct, someone over there keeps mentioning 35%, & that 35 out of 100 listing will sell! no way
also no way to take into account,,but there is a difference between Sites when many items sold for .50 or 1.00,,,compared to say 10.00 on another site right?
Thanks for all the time you take to keep us informed..

Absolutely. There's a significant difference between the average dollar value of auctions reported for eBay and Yahoo, and the literal "dollar" auctions on these free auctionsites. Its becoming increasingly apparent that there's little prospect of the freebies to show even minimal sell-through rate improvement.

thanks for the reply I have spent a lot of time trying them & it seems many shoot themselves in the foot repeatedly.
Someone keeps mentioning the Epier crazy sale had a sell rate of around 35% how could that possibly be correct?&They said he how great it is that 35 out of 100 items will sell?no way..also if you factor in the .40,,.50,.99,& 1.00 items you really see the picture..
Math is ruthlessly honest..

Another interesting point is many of these sellers are friends from message boards,,they are buying from each other so that would really affect any comparison to another site without a small board..a friend sold over 15 items at ONE PENNY EACH..& others less than 2.00...how would you like to wrap all those for shipping for a penny..hope they dont' want to paypal...nothing like a negative cash flow..well it was a crazy sale that is for sure..LOL..hope everyone does better soon..i am very happy with hits & sales at ehammer..funny,,everyone thinks bigger is better,,with a large # of bidders,,& less items the numbers can in this case work for the sellers..enjoy the discussion thanks for all the time to do these numbers

I have noticed that, just like the "other" sale, the dollar value of CRAZY DAYZ is more accurately measured in pennies.

Gives new meaning to the words "PENNY wise & Pound Foolish"
It is a valid concern when guaging the numbers.I feel one sale for 15.00,even if you have to pay 1.00 to sell it,,,is much better than *15 One dollar sales* with NO fees..I feel sorry for people that are selling themselves & their items so short..
Time is worth money, even if it's time with your family etc..
I read on a message board about a year ago something we should all remember,,"If it's not an item worth at least 9.99 or even 7.99 why bother to list it..??"
I thought a lot about that,I have tried to RAISE the quality & value of my listings & it really has helped.
