i do antiques & collectibles & have finally found a site dedicated to us..out of all the sites i have read about on here this one is my pick & i have tried a lot of everyones suggested sites..my experience has been great at E-hammer..many new people..They have some new features..
i tried some other sites & free ones were disapponting.wasted months,,received few hits,,fewer or no bids. i mean free is nice but if you make nothing it's a waste of time many sellers at those sites are selling for 1.00 or less..gee we all work so hard,,our time has to be worth more than that.. this site has really perked up

I may give it a try again on a FREE day, but over the last couple of years I have tested E-Hammer off and on, and found it totally useless, and that includes the sale of European Cut Crystal, antique furniture, antique stain glass, etc. I can do MUCH better on eBay - in fact I don't think I have sold but one item on E-Hammer in 3 years!
But for FREE, I'll check them out again, thanks for the tip.

I listed for the first time over there. Lots of out of print books. Right now they have a server error, so this puts a stop on the free listing day for me. Let's see if I will be able to sell anything. I had all the descriptions written from my old yahoo days, so it did not quite take me forever to list 160 books. But I still have 100 or so to go. Wish me luck!!!

I just went to E-Hammer, decided on a FREE Day I might give them another try, but I see nothing about there being a FREE listing day. I am going to post once and if I don't see anything about FREE on the site, that will be it for me.

Hi they usually have it one the home page,,try one you'll see when charges come up its a big ZERO..
they need to do a big Note on home page especially for all the new people
i have 4 things out of 25 with bids in the first 12 hours..this time of year that is shocking..lots of hits..i feel many people left the big sites,then tried the freebies..now have decided to go to a site that specializes..sell thru rate super high even though a small site..good luck let us know
My friend listed 10 last nite.(she was skeptical)she.has a 15.00 bid all ready lots of hits..this is something you'd get 5.00 for maybe after 5 relists at a free site..Our time is worth money i feel,lots of work to list etc..Maybe matching our items to the site is a key to better & smarter-selling to targeted bidders.that are looking for what we list..
