When I logged on to BidVille this morning, I was greeted with a pop-up ad for a porn site. I mentioned this in a forum thread over there, the Prez responded and said this wasn't possible. He also stated that any more talk like mine would result in a suspension. I suspended myself and he confirmed that I am, in fact, a BidVille reject now
Funny thing is, other more prominent members have reported the same thing at BidVille both in my thread of today and a few times in the past on another thread.
Anyone else seen these smut ads at BidVille? Maybe the porn girls are sneaking into his site!
The Prez would like us to believe that these "Asian Girl XXX" pop-ups are residuals from some other site, but when BidVille is the very first site visited after powering up and logging on (even before opening email), I doubt that.
He is also selectively deleting entire threads that included intelligent discussions about the falling number. Looks like BidVille's frustration levels are increasing - better walk softly over there for awhile

Ah, I haven't seen the porn pop-up, but have no doubt that you did as others have mentioned it, so here's my first truly negative comment for BV...what a crappy thing to do!
wonder if I post a question about it on the BV threads, I'll get suspended too? We could make it a "suspend Rob" day!

Bidville pop-under ads are powered 100% by the FastClick Network. This can be verified by checking the source code of its pages. Engage powers the ads, and FastClick powers the pop-unders.
As RB aka Buzzoon knows, his removal from Bidville had nothing to do with his false statements and everything to do with his repeated insults to Bidville staff members.

Then I and a few others must be "imagining" those Asian Girls XXX pop-ups that show up from your site. You should know that on-line policies are not always followed! Maybe the FastClick Network is being hacked. I know what I saw (HillBilly saw it too), and I know it didn't come from any other site or email. Apart from AW, yours is the only other site I visit that has pop-up ads.

Just a slight correction here ... I suspended myself in frustration and you followed up by "allowing" me to do that. It seems that you have a major problem with some of the questions being asked about your falling number and decided to end that entire discussion. That's what got me going, especially because that was one thread that I was asking very important questions in a very respectful way. As a matter of fact, that was one of the more civil discussions happening over there.
By the way, are you going to also suspend those members who are taking personal shots at me on your forums now that I cannot defend myself? Have a look Ed - there's a couple of good insults there.

I wonder if the press would pick this continuing saga up as a newsworthy item? The angle is there, "Porn Popup Ads Appear at Online Auction Site". West Virginian family sees the ad while surfing for baseball trading cards on the auction site. Great story but very bad publicity for a web site. The kind doctor was hoping for much-needed publicity from the BV-PP lawsuit but that publicity may arrive via a porn popup ad instead ....

I hope you realize the above statements are extremely defamatory and constitute trade libel. If you are not familiar with trade libel, I suggest you look it up.

There have been 2 threads deleted. The first contained a reference that the Prez was acting like Hitler. I shouldn't need to explain why that was removed along with the poster. The second was removed at the request of the two members that were posting in it. If you don't believe that, ask them.
