I have been here for quite awhile and I have particpated in hundreds of discussions. I have also had my share of AW warnings just like a few of us still here.
But, I cannot ever recall so much negtivity here on AW since Bidville started going weird.
I must commend the Moderators for letting a lot of stuff go through ... you folks are being very fair here IMHO ... thanks!
It's hard to argue the stats that Dim posts (unless you happen to be a bean counter trying to count beans that keep moving) and sales (or lack of) at BV (some are successful, the vast majority are not), but it's pretty obvious that Bidville is selectively enforcing it's New Rule, and that should be of a concern to all Bidville members, especially the ones who are now being slandered and insulted by some members.
Anyway, thanks again AW for letting us put (a little of) the rubber on the road

I think it's those auction sites that start with a B!
First we had B--B-y, now Bidville!

I think some people on AW just have to have a site to pickon BB was the one till AW said now more talk. Now Bidville is the target some people are like sharks when they smell blood look out and some people have nothing better to do with their lives but attack a site or a person. My opinion of bidville is they need money to fight PayPal (Paypal has money Bidville had very little money) So here comes the charges to get money. Bidville does not suspend members unless they ask for it "Much like AW" Brake their TOS or ask to be suspended and you are out of there. I feel most of the people at bidville are good people some needs to stay in Yahoos fight room lol. I also think some people will stay on the attack till bidville is removed from the AW board like BB that is their goal! The above is only my opinion I am no longer a bidville cheerleader burned my pom poms.

telwil/wiltel ... you and I need to talk
I wonder if Bidville's lack of money is the reason why "He" has not responded to any of the members very legitimate questions for the last few weeks? Maybe "He" is out looking for work ...

I cant speek for ED all I can do is guess so this is what I am doing.
GUESS; Untill the paypal thing ED said he could run bidville for over 3 years without any fees. He also promised there would be no hidden fees (These are facts).
Since Paypal said no we are going to fight you in court. Image fees have come up "That is a hidden fee". I believe bidville thought paypal would settle out of court so it would not cost Ed anything. But paypal sees they will win the court fight so it is Ed get your lawyers. Ed is now doing everthing he can to get the money to pay for this fight "and he will lose" so yes he broke his word and he dont want to talk about it that is why he would not reply to my questions. The money he is takeing in now will not go to upgrade or advertise. And I also would look for paypal to sue bidville when this court fight is over and I believe paypal will win that fight. So yes after it is all over Ed may be looking for a new job and bidville will have new owners. All I can say is we will see!

Then my suggestion is dont brake the TOS or ask to be suspended. It is that simple. Have a nice day.

In retrospect there's alot to be said for Yahoo!'s move. They did the market research, made the decision, and the rest is history.
Now Bidville, and to a lesser extent the other free auctionsites, have the same problems that Yahoo! *had*.
I'm going to reassess after vacation.

Bidville certainly is changing in many ways. Several of the old timers has been suspended, and a few rookies has fell by the wayside. Of course I have always said, the message boards is kind of like my opinions. Not worth a hill of beans. Other than that, I like Bidville, my business is brisk, actually I would like to see it slack a bit. Bidville is my hobby, and it has been turning into work here lately. How ya been RB? Long time no hear, or see. I don't come to A.W. very much. I did see where you took a jab at my "shine jug". I take that thar thing everywhere I go. Well, I got to get back to my warehouse, I think I sold around 40 or 50 cards today, while I had my son to see a movie. You all take care, and be good.

Skeeter does give you the impression she's in a Lil' Abner cartoon and BV is really DogPatch. I'm sure she'd take that as high praise.

Is this thread about Skeeter specifically, or is it just another free for all? I think you all need a little Moderator spankie.

This thread has run its course and it seems many cannot stay on topic. Therefore it is being locked.
