Bidbay's numbers are ought of line. I think they should stop the deception. I beleive it chases people away from a site that has a chance of making it.
I've been watching Bidbay for a month or so there has been growth and they are attracting cash bidders. Also site is more user friendly than eBay. With their We don't care attitude.
So keep an eye open and watch out for cats.

Well, well well, I, too have been watching their numbers. Not bad for an online auction site that's only been in business for a short time. I don't think the numbers are fake.

Also, why are there so many people conversing about them? They must of done something right.

I am assured that they will rise to the top soon.

ps:Mikecol, signed up today????Are you a bidbay member?

Perhaps I should clarify, It is when you look at a catagory and it says 2503 and there is nothing there. That should stop.
And to answer your question, new here, yes.
Belong to both, hopefully listing on only one in the near future.

You don't think the numbers are fake???Well they may not be fake per se....but let me give you an example....there's a very well known seller at bidbay, has won many contests, active in chat, that currently has appox. 2400 auctions listed at bidbay, the bulk are dutch auctions of 250 items each. This is almost a half million items, must be making tons of money right?WRONG,looking thur I found 6 auctions with U.S.Doolar bids and maybe 20 with bidbay buck bids.So whats the motivation for this seller?Who knows, maybe they're part owner.
By the way, right after I started the other thread about "pumping up the numbers" the seller that I found with 690,000 of the same item listed (and no bids) went poof,no more auctions. If anyone wants to know the ID's of these sellers just drop me an e-mail.

The seller your referring to uses Bidbay's unique bulkloader. When using this tool thousands of auctions are set to start at the same time and end at the same time. They only run them 3-10 days to avoid mailbox bombing of relist notices. Once set up this way all they have to do is change the start and end date in the program and upload them again. No skin off their back.

It has nothing to do with the start of your thread as why they came down nor are they part owner.

Vette..Gee thanks for teaching me soooo much,I do very well on my own thank you.I'm not real clear on how you know which seller I'm talking about as I have not mentioned the name in public.I DO know that when the thread started they had dutch auctions running a total 690,000 of the same item(and NO bids). This was an imformation CD that anyone with alittle web savy could do without. The auction were not supposed to end the same day but they did.The seller has not had anything listed since. The e-mail the seller was using was a yahoo address which was not registered at any other site that I could find. So,again,as far as I could tell the only thing these auctions were doing was Pumping up the Numbers.

rtt,

I see that you spend an often big time on bidbay and come to thee boards to defame them without accurate knowledge.

I've noticed that you were suspended before from that site, and I also noticed once that the CEO warned people like you for tresspassing and stalking and libel.

I'm assured that if auctionwatch allowed the CEO to defend himself, he would, but then they allow people like you to keep on damaging their reputation.

I wonder, if it was me, how long will this be allowed to go on for????

Tresspassing and stalking and libel? Oh my!
Tresspassing and stalking and libel? Oh my!

If ever, oh ever, a Clown there was,
The CEO of BidBay is one because,
Because, because, because, because, because,
Because of the things he says and does!

[apologies to all in Oz]

Fullofknowledge(talk about oxymorons)It takes very little time to find the things I talk about. And yes I was suspended, let me see, that was when CEO himself had several hundred thousand auctions running(pumping up the numbers).I suggest you have someone explain to you the meaning of "stalking and libel".Neither have occured on these boards(of course on the bidbay chat boards Vette has called me some choice names and libeled my wife)lol....

and now is certain that I am a woman! If I could meet him in person, he would see for himself. To call us trolls and this the basement, they sure spend a lot of time trolling themselves! Hey fullof, I saw once over there where you offered to report everything that was said about Bidbay from here, to them over there. I don't remember now what happened but one of your postings got removed. I think that having a reward offered by the CEO of a Company , for ones head, is more under the guidelines of stalking than posting opinions on the chat boards. Why can Mr. CEO not post here? Whoever it was that did the OZ Parody......I think that is great! And now I'm Off to see the Wizard.
