I just wanted to say there are a lot of us hanging in there with Pootah. I had my first four auctions close as 'winners' when Pootah came back up. I do Pootah!!!

The change made prior to the down time of widening the auction page made it possible to put two pictures side by side, a great inovation! For those of us trying to present our items from their best prospectus, it makes the items look great!

It seems with their own dedicated server the site is much quicker now. Of course, not to many are on it at this time, as some don't know it is up yet.

To the nay sayers on any boards, I say "Give it a rest!". Someday you may feel like a real fool for talking down to a new site. I sure hope so in the case of Pootah Auctions. What ever happened to promoting free enterprise? Especially non-corporate individuals working their butts off?

Geez, give them a damn break! How many nay sayers would put in the countless hours trying to get their site up, AND fulfill all of the 'wish lists' coming in, popping up on this board, and others? maybe a little more tolerance, patience, and support would go a long way. Maybe we can all take a break from asking for so much, and let 'them' have one.

I, and many others, support Pootah & the Team,

It was mentioned there was a glitch in the software, that it is being worked on, before it happened to you. Some are patient, some are not.

No bids for me, so far. Hope it will pick up. I love the ease of bulk listing at their site. But what if nobody bids?

I signed with pootah today to buy something which I did. Then I thought what the heck I'll list something while I'm here! Found it not very user friendly, and never listed anything because I couldn't find a Cat. to put it in!!! They have a long way to go!

I have a few items listed on Pootah (more than anywhere else right now) and found them extremely easy to use and very intuitive. The customer service there is the best I've seen anywhere, and if you need another category, all you have to do is ask and they get it up for you. Not planning on listing a lot of auctions anywhere right now, but when I do, I'll be trying Pootah first.

I am not affiliated with Pootah in any way other than being a user.

Pootah does have category problems which they are working on, so they say. Go to the Forum and post a request.

I posted some, but held off because there simply needs to be more subcategories.

Also, they split things up in strange ways. Militaria is in to locations, Stamps and Coins are in three locations, etc. etc.

Militaria over 100 years old they suggest putting in Antiues - Militaria, and that which is less in age under Collectibles - Militaria. This makes no sense.

My personal opinion on Pootah. If you don't agree, you are entitled, but please don't tell me why you think 'I' am wrong. It is 'my' opinion after all, I am not trying to make it 'yours'.

Pootah has done more in two weeks than big bucks Yahoo! ever has, and eBay for that matter. I have gotten more customer service from Pootah in two small weeks, than all of the other auction sites 'put together'.

If I only have one of a given item, it will be on Pootah. If I have multiples, the others will go on AuxPal, then BidBay. If BidBay starts charging fees, they are history, like Yahoo!.

Sure Pootah needs to make a few changes, but they ARE every day, 24/7. Give them some time. Imagine what Pootah would be like today if they had all of the years eBay, and Yahoo! has had?

I'll stick with them until they make it. If they don't, it won't be because of me. They treat sellers with respect. Where the hell do you get that anywhere else? A BIG plus for me is, they are non-corporate and small, to start. I've had it with the STUPID corporate mentality, and being treated with no respect at all. Being dictated to, and treated like we didn't matter, when WE make these sites what they are, for them!
