I'm using Dutchbid! Love it. It's pretty new (Sept?) and is now revamping the site some .. GREAT site!

NO Listing Fees
FVF only .. as it should be (don't pay unless it sells)
Minimal charges for options: featured, bold, etc!

A good business model .. should be quite successful!!

In the beta testing stage for their own bulk loader!!
I have a memory like a steel trap .. unfortunately it's rusted shut!

I have had good luck with WebSwap. Free listing 30 days, relist 90 more days for twenty-five cents. They collect the money and deduct final value fee from check.

Have visited and am impressed by AuXpal. Have listed a few items and am in the process of listing many more. No fees for life if one registers by early March.

Have used LoswestBids. No fees for life attracted me to the site. Made one sale. They need to fix the way auctions are listed. Current bulk lister is very poor. Live customer service is a wonderful feature that I wish all auction sites would adopt.

Since eBay raised their fees, I sell my Militaria items at:

http://www.militaria-collectibles.com

Thet do not charge for listing. I can also list my items in the Retail Sales Catalog that they provide for sellers. The Catalog is great for moving items without an auction format.

mrauctionman:

I would think twice about using lowestbids, or even mentioning the name here.

Take a look at what the owner of AuctionWatch had to say to the owner of lowestbids.

http://www.auctionwatch.com/mesg/read.html?num=6&thread=13829&id=14239

He has the nerve to sign up here under more then a dozen user IDs, SPAMS for his lousey site, THEN doesn't even bother to pay the advertising cost's that he ran up here for banner ads.

What a poor excuse of a business.

I'm impressed with what I've seen on DutchBid, and their bulk loader is a REAL program--similar to AW's AMPro--not a "create an MS file and upload it" situation like Yahoo! and Lycos. Management is very responsive and has ongoing support on their discussion boards. Categories are added every day. I'm referring all my bidders to the site.

Hi all:

Snuze.com is completely free. They have a BulkLoader as well that is an actual program. Nice setup also.

Ooops we won't mention that site again. No wonder I have no bids. I went to see what Boxlot was up to these days and was redirected to Haggle. Haggle also has free listings. I listed a few things out of curiosity and I already have bids. Even on the ones that have no bids I have a dozen or more page hits already. I think I remember Haggle from a few years ago. It is part of the G02Net Nerwork. The info on the site says it was launched in 1996. I am very impressed by this site. It's not the best looking site by any means but if it has bidders, who cares.

Sorry, should have mentioned that the bulk loader for DutchBid is in beta testing right now. I don't know if they're still looking for testers or not, but if you're interested, try emailing [email protected]. They were looking for sellers who could list 100+ auctions a week and had access to a server for their images (AuctionWatch image hosting works, although most of my images are loaded from my ISP web space).
