Mr. Prez claimes that the verification fees were to cover the cost of credic card verification.
And now this:
You can PAY to get verified using a check, money order or paypal. Am I missing something here? Why are the fees still the same? a paypal transaction of 1 cent from a verified paypal member should work, Also a voided check. So now the question has to be asked. What is the motive for verification.
Could it be to generate money and to close up the site to the inner circle of followers. Surely the Prez must realize that all of these restrictions are going to scare most people off. Shouldn't he?

For the benefit of those of us who cannot read the announcements on the Bidville site (i.e. those of us who don't want to buy a secret decoder ring or whose secret decoder ring was, ummm, taken away for bad behaviour!), do you think it would make better sense to either stop the constant bashing based on surmisals, or invite the PreZ to visit AW and make the new rules clear? Right now, everything I am reading here is hearsay, and to tell you the truth, I am having a hard time believing most of it.
So, do one of you BidVille members in good standing want to extend an invitation to the PreZ to join us here and state his reasons for doing what he is doing?
Otherwise, we're wasting our time by guessing His motives ...

Everyone knows the CEO will NOT come here anymore so it is very easy to propose that he do just that.
The pay-the-same for verification with PayPal is yet another indicator of the desperate need of cash by BV ( ironic that the cash may be needed to pay legal fees in an unwinable PayPal law suit ).
Well the $600 in beanie babies auctions of his got no bids so it back to milking of the BV faithful for cash. Maybe BV copied Carnaby's Cash Cow afterall.

Well bidbids, unless I and any of my Banned-BidVille-Buddies who are also not able to access His annoucements without a password, hear if from the horse's mouth, then I will consider this all nothing more than Bidville bashing. I know when I took a shot at the PreZ, he was here in a second defending Himself. The shots you guys are firing are much deeper, more personal, more insulting and more libelous than anything I ever even dreamed of. I have to wonder why He is not responding in a forum where "potential" BidVille members (those who haven't paid to play yet) can get both sides of the story. They, like me, can't read it there.
See how many more wild and wonderful stories you guys can come up with ... if nothing else, it's interesting reading
