I received an email today from http://www.gruvo.com -- anyone else heard of them or about them? Supposed to be another auction site.

Sorry I did not make it clickable but did write it all the way out AuctionPulse! Still pretty empty but looks very interesting! And they are running a listing contest -- for all the ambitious ones of us!

I found mention of Gruvo earlier on another board and went to their site. It took a while but I got in. Geez, that home page takes FOREVER to load!

Rusty...
Don't think you could ever find out about the other sites on this board, but you were able to gather names of the newer ones and investigate them yourselves. There will still be the people who verify because they just have to come here to "advertize" their favorite site or bash the ones they hate.
Stay tuned.....
Do you have to be verified to "read" the boards??

Thanks -- was wondering because seemed unusual to get an email cold turkey asking me to participate - having not read anything elsewhere made me wonder if i was legit or not! Would have thought there would be more chatter considering it is tied to a TV show too but maybe not becuse of it not being national yet?

Yes, it is -- but even more interesting was trying to determine where exactly they found me - I guess given eBay's stuff lately I do not mind being found - just mostly concerned it wasn't another virus or hacker's deal.

Well, your e-mail address is listed with AW and available for any of us to see. I am sure they can just compile a list from all those AW users that post their e-mail addresses or allow them to be seen.
