It has some new features, and I was just wondering what you all thought of them. I have tried the Max, but not Maxime yet. She sounds pretty cool because you can import listings from bidville, ebay, epier and yahoo (i think). Sounds interesting! I was wondering what you all thought of their features.

I refuse to waste my time trying out features on a site that refuses to advertise. What good are all these wonderful features without buyers anyway???

Carnaby is just completing it's Beta site reviews and updates of numerous auction tools and enhancements. Their advertising campaign will occur shortly. Unlike numerous other sites, especially one that starts will G***, Carnaby decided to be ready and then announce & advertise, rather that do a blitz and then have to drop back and restart again & again & again...........

I emailed Carnaby's customer service a couple of months ago and asked them when the advertising would begin. The reply said that an ad campaign at the current time with low amount of site offerings was not resaonable. The current number of listings is about the same as two months ago. If Carnaby plans to start an ad campaign now then it is a departure from it's earlier plans or criteria for launching such a campaign.

So far, I love it at Carnaby. I've had a few sales and CS is wonderful!
Yes, they are not advertising yet, but they are still working out the bugs. And, I'm very happy to help them work out those bugs as it does not cost me a thing and like I said above I have had auctions close with paying bidders!

I don't buy Carnaby's excuses for not advertising. How do they expect to have a sell through rate if no one knows they exist? Its to bad. I like the site. But I have serious concerns with any business, not just Carnaby, that goes to great lengths to build a site then doesn't try to attract business. Makes me wonder what is really going on there. Sure, I know all about the beta testing, but most bonafide business would at least give an honest and realistic date for advertising to start. Something stinks here!

I have had no sales at Carnaby yet, but will continue to support them and list a few things. They have a delightful site, easy to list and nice layout...best of all they have not LIED to Users like another site I used to list at.
I do hope that they advertise soon.

Carnaby is just like the old Golds Auction, waste of folks time, will never be a player the pace they are moving

Maxime is GREAT, I have used it with eBay and Yahoo and loved it. Category transfer could use some work with the eBay transfer but all in all its better then listing them seperate in bulk loader.
Yes Carnaby does have alot of work to do in advertising, however I have had successful auctions and it cost me nothing to list. Give them time and I am sure they will get it all worked out.
