I have just tried to list at Yahoo. the very simplest of all listing so far is Bargain and Haggle. And now that I listed a few more things, I am in business. Wroked on yahoo for hours today and am still not listed.

Any new system takes getting use to in the beginning. I find Yahoo a lot easier than eBay to list with and there is no paying for the second and third picture like ePay. It's also easier to revise and relist an auction on Yahoo than eBay, at least to me anyways.
But it does take time to learn thenew system.

Hi Rob,
Thanks for writing.
1. Early this afternoon I signed up for yahoo. They said they would send a confirmation. I went back over and over the confirmation. Could not find the URL they talked about (to click on) nor the confirmation code.
2. After a couple of hours of trying to find a place to ask what they meant, I reregistered. Finaly, after the 3rd try, they sent a confirmation code. Meantime, I could not use their chat board, before that, as I did not have a confirmation code. i came to Auctionwatch, my old faithful.
They sent me through a whole regamaro at one point on signing up for a payment service. I did not feel they realy explained the difference between their wallet and the other one. Just kept going from one link to another.
3. So I went back with my code and tried to list an auction, just to try it out. They would not accept my password. I worked on that for a while and somehow got onto their chat board. Nobody was around to answer questions. I tried 3 or 4 boards.
4. I tried again to list. They said their sysem was overloaded and could not accept my pass word.
5. I tried agian later. After going round and round, they told me I had to wait 24 hours to use my pass word.
6. With Bargain and haggle, I was on and listed the first time within 15 minutes. It is a simple site with not a lot of hoopla going on. And listing has been taking me a few seconds to a few minutes since my first auction. It is far easier than Ebay.

aliceroad,
You want simple? Have you tried sellyouritem.com? Listing is a breeze and if you have auctions that didn't sell at ebay, yahoo or carnaby, you can import them with a few clicks.

Hi Alice. That definately sounds like one frustrating time to me. I know my sister was signing up for Yahoo! Pay Direct and was put through an endless loop of wrong links for her confirmation. She and I both have been having an entire week like the time you just described so I haven't even ventured to sign up for PayDirect yet, LOL.
I sure hope things improve for you.
